hey. it's been a while. this little intro just explains what to expect with this fic and some rules i'm making for myself.
i've gone too long without cazzie content so i'm making my own while i make up my mind on other fics.
(read the book description for a summary of the plot!)
- yeah yeah yeah, y'all know the drill. this doesn't really have any special qualities to it (like ambition does... that shit scares me now) so it's gonna be very basic. laid back. similar to most fics. just gay pining.
- this is just gonna be full of headcanons i have for all of the characters in atypical. i may throw in some ocs if they are necessary but it's gonna mostly be about casey and izzie because, yeah. y'know.
- i'm gonna use this fic to ramble. a lot. and also experiment with different writing styles. there'll be a lot of monologues. everything will be in first person and also in this format.
- i'll probably switch povs a lot, though it will mostly be in casey's pov. i just know more about her character so i'll be able to get a lot written.
- chapters might be on the shorter side but that's just so i can get more reads. i usually write about 4-5k words per chapter, though i'll probably limit it to only 1-2k to get more chapters out quicker. also helps my motivation.
- things could get suggestive but i won't write out fully-fledged nsfw chapters; i'll hint at stuff like that or write it out with a lot of metaphors, haha. you'll see what i mean if we get there.
- please. for the love of whatever exists. if i get one more person hating on evan because he makes casey "straight," i'll lose my mind. casey is canonically bisexual and i'm gonna make evan bisexual in this fic... so.. they are very much not straight, your honor.
(that is if i make them get together at some point, though i'll probably write them in as good friends so i don't have to cry over making them break up when izzie comes along.)
- this will most likely be a slowburn fic with mutual pining! i have a plan, you'll see. :)
