"Where is it.." Ranboo desperatly looked in his millions of chests, unable to find the one book he loved so much. The boy was in a moment of pure anxiety, that book held very precious things, such as his friends, his enemies.. and much more. Let's not forget his beloved platonic husband, Tubbo and his adopted son, Micheal. They meant so much to him. "Looking for this?" A voice came from behind Ranboo, which caused him to jerk his head up quickly and look back. No one was there, just the book, laying on the wooden floor. "The book.." He mumble, relived. As he bent down to grab it, a wave of pain rushed through his veins. Causing the enderman to fall to his knees, hands over his ears.
"Look inside it."
"Don't be afraid, Ranboo."
"He dropped it down for you."
The voices. They were back right after he just go rid of them. The black and white haired boy picked up the book in a swift motion, opening it and going through the pages that were filled with his secrets. Until he arrived at that one page....the page was blank and empty, the only thing on it was a smiley face on the top left corner. Ranboo's eyes widden, that smile,
It was awfully familiar..of course it was. "That smile..It's..-" Right as he was going to continue, Tubbo shouts for him to come upstairs. "I'll be there!" he shouts back. He put the book in his bag, going up the ladder into his son's room. "Need something Tubbo?" He asked, Tubbo holding Micheal, who was crying. "What happened?" The enderman looked at the goat hybrid, "He fell from his bed while sleeping.." The boy said, rocking the baby piglin in his arms while sitting in the kids bed. "Is he alright? Did he get hurt?" Ranboo walked up to the crying child, petting his hair softly. "He's fine, it wasn't that big of a fall." Tubbo assured. "That's good." The taller smiled, Micheal soon calming down and falling into a deep sleep once again.
"Looks like he fell back asleep..Poor Micheal, he must've been exhausted." Tubbo chuckled, putting Micheal back down onto his bed as he pecked his forehead. "Goodnight Micheal, sweet dreams." The brunet said as he walked off, going downstairs to his room. "Goodnight.." Ranboo repeated and followed Tubbo back downstairs, closing the trap door above his head. It's been a while since Ranboo and Tubbo actually talked, they usually were always busy and if one was free, the other wasn't. It was boring for the poor enderman, all he wanted was to communicate with his platonic husband. It was kind of sad. "Tubbo?" Ranboo called out, his tone came out more of a whisper. "Yes, Ranboo." Tubbo said, followed with a sigh. "Can we hang out a bit? We haven't done that ever since we had Micheal and ever since..well, you became president." The enderian said as he was fidgetting with his fingers. "Are you saying Micheal and my career is an issue." Tubbo snapped, looking at Ranboo dead in the eyes with a look that could kill, that look sending a shiver down the enders spine. "N-No, No! It out- It- Uh- It came out wrong!" Ranboo stumbled over his words, he was panicking a lot currently. Upsetting Tubbo would be the last thing he would want to do in the whole world. "I meant- Like- Y'know.. We never spend time with eachother anymore."
"NOTHING IS EVER GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU, ISN'T IT?" Tubbo shouts, causing the boy to flinch at the sudden Stentorian noise. "I'm happy for what we have-! It's just- Y'know?" He hesitated, fear being the only thing he felt currently. "Unappreciative brat." The brunet growled as he slammed the door behind him, Ranboo tearing up. "No, No no no no.. I promised I wouldn't betray him, I even wrote it down." A tear rolled down his cheek, causing red burn marks to appear on his cheek. "It burns..Why do they hurt so bad..?" He questioned, his voice shaky as he fell to his knees on the hard spruce wood floor. "Why does it burn?" He cried, putting his hands on his ears, shaking and repeating the same phrase over and over again. 'Why me?' It was painful. The person he loved so much, the one he cared for, had just...
Turned against him.
He cried and screamed at the pain his own tears had made him feel, it was like hot water burning someone skin. It felt so painful that the tear marks might even become scars, though, he couldn't stop. It felt endless. The burning tears kept scarring his face. "Everyone turns against me..Why can't I just be like Tommy? Everyone loves him.." He mumbled, sniffling and shaking in the corner of the room where he was first in with Tubbo.
A sudden wave of shock flew through him as his eyes widden, the colour of his green eye now turning into a bright neon green. His head had gone all fuzzy and his vision was blurry. All he could see was the image of a tall green man wearing a mask. That same mask with the same stupid face on it. The mask he knew all too well. It was Dream. Of course it was, who wouldn't it be? It's not like anyone would actually want to be Dream. "You seem upset, Ranboo. Why is that?" The blonde snickered, he knew why. But he just craved to see the poor enderian in pain and in pure distress. "Why now? Why now all of a sudden? Why couldn't you just tourment me another time?" Ranboo snapped, he HATED the sight of Dream. The one who manipulated, and killed his friend. Tommy. He was the reason he was in pain. It was all his fault. Not anyone else's fault. It was Dream's fault specifically. "That wouldn't have been much fun, wouldn't it Ranboo? I mean, look at us. Talking and sharing stories." Dream replied a bit too calm for the situation currently. "This isn't 'fun'. You're annoying." Ranboo growled. "Very Aware. Listen, how about we play a little..game? Hm?" The man suggested, Ranboo's curiousity causing him to look up. "What kind of game?"
"It's simple, really. You just gotta let me in and take control."
