".... So will he be okay?" Ajju asked, Pechi was still sleepy and drowsy, but she missed Ajju and she was awake early, talking to him. The sun was just rising and the balcony was her favourite place.
"I hope. He needs to. He will be." She nodded.
"Was he upset?" He asked, feeling terrible for his sister and Ran.
"Yeah of course he was. But he's alright." She didn't have the heart to tell him that he had cried helplessly.
"Okay. Good." He nodded. Pechi let out a yawn, and stretched.
"It's so hot." She whined softly, resting her head on her knees.
"This is so weird no? It's so bloody cold here in December and it's so hot there." He laughed.
"Yeah ra. It's so tiring. And I don't feel like cooking today." She mumbled, getting up. She felt so sleepy again. Rana's apartment smelt fresh and airy, like it was on some kind of beach but with a flower garden all around. She loved being here.
"What kind of a place do you want to stay at when you come here?" She asked.
"Somewhere cheap. Don't overact and spend too much." He mumbled, bringing her back down to the ground reality. She wasn't Rana.
"Right." She mumbled, climbing back into bed. Ajju had this expression on his face that she couldn't understand. She raised an eyebrow, pulling the blanket over her. Rana looked so adorable when he was asleep. She wanted to kiss his sweet cheeks.
"What?" She asked annoyed when he continued to look at her.
"You're sleeping in the same bed?" He gasped, eyes wide.
"Huh?" She squeaked, shock clear in her face.
"You and Rana sir. Are in the same bed? Are you going to get married to him?" He asked.
"Aye chup. That's none of your business." She mumbled, blushing.
"Erm... Okay." He mumbled awkwardly.
"I'll marry him one day. I hope." She whispered. To make things worse, she felt him turn, and his arm snake around her waist.
"Morning..." His morning voice rasped out, kissing her cheek, unaware of the fact that Ajju was right there. There was this heavy and nasty feeling in her heart, she felt like she was overdoing things, and she felt slightly exposed. She was new to this, she had no idea how it worked, but somehow, this part belonged to only her and Rana, and Ajju getting s glimpse into it, it made her feel disgusting. She didn't know why. Maybe it was her periods making her think so much.
"I'll call you later." She said, hanging up.
"Rana!" She hissed, she felt weird in her chest.
"Hmm?"
"Ajju saw that." She said, her brows were furrowed.
"What?" He opened his eyes, waking up.
"That hug and the kiss. It was my fault... I got into bed." She hissed, sitting up.
"What? I mean... He does know...." He frowned, still not liking the fact that the young boy saw them.
"It's just... Ugh... Nothing. I'm going to go brush." She mumbled, getting up and walking off into the extra room. There was something bothering her. She couldn't put a finger on it. She was also nervous about Rana. He had his tests in an hour. And she was worried.
"What happened to you in the morning when I woke up?" Rana asked a few minutes into the drive.
"Hmm?" She hummed, distracted.
