I always enjoyed walking that path with you, no matter the weather.

..:*°..:*°..:*°..:*°

The same familiar path. The large trees that hung over the concrete. The flowers that grew in the small cracks in the ground. The same familiar faces that smiled as you passed. The backpack weighed down your shoulders as you walked along the path. Your shoes scraped across the concrete as shuffled along.

Luckily, the school was only 15 minutes away from your house, making for a short walk. There was already a crowd of students gathered outside. You slowly walked down the hill as you scanned the crowd for your friends. "Y/N!!" You didn't have time to turn around before a pair of arms wrapped around your neck.

"Hey-" You choked as you tried to pry the arms from your neck. "I knew you'd be here early!" The brown haired girl ran in front of you. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, letting the front strands fall into her face. "Sasha, I'm not that early-" "Yeah you are! Anyways, let's go. I want to scope out our classmates." Sasha grabbed onto your hand and ran with you towards the school.

She pushed through the crowd towards the front doors of the school. "We're class 3B. I had to practically blackmail Principal Smith to put us in the same class." Sasha turned the corner towards the staircase and rushed up the stairs. You guys passed the students hanging out on the stairs and climbed up to the third floor.

"A...B!" Sasha read the labels on the classrooms and slid open the door to the classroom. "Hey!" She screamed out and you hid behind her with your head hung low as she walked further into the classroom. "Oh, Y/N! Your brother is in our class!" Sasha waved her hands up and pulled you out from behind her.

"Yeah... I know." You rolled your eyes as you looked over at the group of boys that sat in the back of the room. "Hey, Reiner!" Sasha walked up to the muscular, blond boy who was leaning on the windowsill. "Come on Braus. You're always causing a commotion." Reiner smirked as he pushed off the windowsill.

"Good to see you too." Sasha hit him in his arm as everyone watched the two. Sasha came back running over to you and placed both of her hands on your shoulders. "Come on. Let's get the perfect seats." Sasha guided you over to the two empty desks that sat by the window. Sasha forced you to sit down in the seat furthest to the window as she sat down next to you.

"Have you thought about taking the job at my parent's bakery?" Sasha leaned her head on her hand as she looked over at you. "yeah, I'll take it. I need the money." Sasha's eyes lit up and she raised her hands in the air. "Yes! We get to spend late nights baking together-"

"Hey, Braus! You think you could keep it down?!" Someone shouted from the back of the room. You whipped around to see a boy with log, ashy brown hair glaring at you and Sasha from his desk. Sasha turned back around to roll her eyes as she looked at you. "Fuck. I think it's Jean Kirstein. I knew he was a pain in the ass."

You giggled and looked out of the corner of your eyes to see him talking to your brother. "Him and Eren are the biggest pains in my ass and I just met Jean." Sasha looked over to the boy sitting near Jean. He had messy brown hair that was pulled up into a bun.

"Eren's really not that bad when you get to know him..." You shook your head as the boy turned around. He gave you a small smile and then turned back around to continue talking to his friend. "Uh huh. You only say that because you used to have a crush-" "Sasha I swear, I will smash your face into that desk."

Sasha immediately shut up and rested her head on the desk. "I mean you did-" The sound of the bell interrupted Sasha and everyone shuffled to their seats. "I'm Mr. Ackerman. You will address me by that." The older, dark haired man walked into the room and headed towards the chalk board.

He neatly wrote his name in chalk and turned around to face the class. "Just keep my classroom clean and we shouldn't have an issue." He spoke in a monotone manner and his mouth stayed straight as he spoke. "Now, pull out your textbooks and we'll begin."

"I thought I was going to die of boredom. I mean Ackerman is-" Sasha stretched out her arms and looked over at the teacher. "Oops." Sasha scurried out of the room and you were on her heels. "You want to grab something to eat from the vending machines? I love the honey buns and I missed them so much." Sasha was practically salivating as she headed down the steps.

"Sure. I could go for a candy bar." You skipped down the crowded stairs and out of the building. You followed Sasha towards the vending machines that stood by the benches outside the school. Sasha dug into her pockets and pulled out some coins. You did the same, making sure to count out a dollar.

"Hey, Braun." You heard a voice come up behind you and you looked to see Eren peering over your shoulder. "Oh, hey." You smiled softly as you stepped up to the vending machine. Sasha unwrapped the honey bun and shoved it into her mouth. "Lucky for you, you get to spend the 4th year in a row with me."

You chuckled as you knelt down and grabbed the candy bar from the vending machine slot. "Lucky me, huh?" You shoved the candy bar in your pocket and looked to the boys standing on the sidewalk. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." You waved to Eren as you walked towards Reiner and his friends with Sasha.

"You ready?" Reiner looked to you as you approached him. "This is your sibling?" You turned to Jean as he looked at you up and down. "Mhm." Reiner smirked as he grabbed onto your backpack and pulled you away. "I didn't know you were friends with Jean." You glared at the boy as he kept his eyes on you.

"Well we are both on the swim team." Reiner let go of your backpack as you two started walking up the steps back towards your house. "Hm. Ok." You frowned and looked away from Jean and focused on the path.
