The Beatles' music is timeless but shows the change going on in the world. This is one of my favorite songs by the Beatles and most everyone knows it.
I believe it shows that there is still a silver lining. Summer always follows the coldest winters. Even if it feels like it's been forever since the clouds have parted, the sun will still shine.
