Ashwin came in and saw Meyshna. He went towards her, smiled and said "please make yourself comfortable, change panradhuna panikonga". Meyshna remained silent, Ashwin then went on getting his clothes changed.

Seeing Meyshna still at same place made him worried but he understood why she must be feeling so. He took a chair and sat facing her.

Ashwin: are u ok?

Meyshna: (slowly nodded her head)

Ashwin: Namba neraya pesunadhilanu teriyum, ippo na pesuradhu pathu romba pesurenu nenachidathinga. Solliye aganumnu mind la oditu iruku

Meyshna was getting anxious and Ashwin could sense it.

Ashwin: hey worry panra alavukelam illa. Just wanted to let you know that I'm not superstitious, so I don't quite believe in all that the elderly expects from newlyweds. We don't even know each other well, you must be having lots of doubts running in your mind. A new place, new environment and perhaps even a new person you're going to be living with. One needs courage to do that. And (Ashwin's sister)- Abinaya told me things, I completely understand how you're feeling like. We are not going to rush into this, we will take it slow. Let's see how it goes between us, if we could make it work and so on. Ermm, solla vandhadha solitenu nenakiren. Edhadhu kekanum or solanumnu irundha neenga solalam

Meyshna: did Abi say everything?

Ashwin: I guess so? Even if it's not, doesn't really matter, I'll get to know it if time permits. And naa ippo pesanudhelam is not because of that

Meyshna: thank you

Ashwin: (smiled), I'll take that as a sign that you're happy with what I spoke. Goodnight.

Ashwin then went to sleep on his pull out sofa bed, letting the bed alone for Meyshna.

The whole night, Meyshna was confused with thoughts, but there was also a slight relief after hearing Ashwin's words.

Meyshna barely slept for about 2 hours and was up even before sunrise. She checked her phone and noticed that she received a message from her mum.

Parvathy: good morning kanna, hope you are doing fine. Night thookame varala, missed you so much more than usual. Now, start your day by telling yourself everything is going to get better.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she read the message. Parvathy always send such messages when she knows that Meyshna's not feeling good.
