Both Ashwin and Meyshna were reminiscing over those days where everything felt new and special to them. While they were talking about it, Meyshna went to get her book. A book where she has made note of their life journey together, listing out all their special occasions, memorable days, pics of them taken on those days and a small note for each of it. Like a little map of their life. She opened the book and noticed after the proposal, the next pic she has added is the one they took when they went for a vacation.

After the proposal, Ashwin wanted to bring Meyshna for a vacation since they've never been to one before. Meyshna couldn't decide a place and told Ashwin to decide instead. After lots of thinking and research, Ashwin decided on Kerala, a 2-day stay in a houseboat in Kerala. Meyshna have heard about this place from her friends but have never imagined how the place/stay would be, so she agreed to Ashwin's choice. Ashwin then booked a houseboat for themselves in Allepey and they headed to Kerala for the weekend.

Ashwin has been to Kerala for work trips, not for vacay, so he knows places over there whereas Meyshna had no clue. She was more excited for this vacay. They reached the place early and checked in, since their houseboat boards at 9am. Cruising through the calm Kerala backwaters and having a chilled time visiting a few stops, that's what they did throughout the day until the houseboat was anchored to the shore.

It was evening by then and Meyshna was wondering if there's anything for the night.

Meyshna: do we just stay here?

Ashwin: yes

Meyshna: the whole night?

Ashwin: aama..yen?

Meyshna: how safe is it? We're in a middle of no where

Ashwin: (laughed), that's how it's meant to be, everything's safe

Meyshna: I was thinking there would be some night activities

Ashwin: not tired from all the visits we made during the day?

Meyshna: hmm a little, but we'd be so bored!! It's only 7pm now

Ashwin: we can watch a movie and then time would pass

Meyshna: I checked them, nothing's nice

Ashwin: or we could just sit and talk

Meyshna: adhudhan panamudiyum

Ashwin: enna..edho interest illadha maariye iruku

Meyshna: apdila illa, as long as we don't get tired of talking

Ashwin: we better not! A talk over candlelight dinner, how does that sound?

Meyshna: sounds very romantic to me

Ashwin: well..it's just an idea

Ashwin: (laughed) we can give them a call and get it ready for us, don't worry.

Ashwin then called up, spoke to the person in charge and when their dinner was coming in, they brought few candles along. Meyshna then quickly set up the place and they sat and talked while having dinner. Meyshna's playlist was playing in the background.

Ashwin: our first vacation, together

Meyshna: which none would believe, even amma was surprised when we told her about it

Ashwin: but only we know why it took this long

Ashwin then reached out his hand towards Meyshna and asked her "May I?", without thinking further Meyshna gave in, and Ashwin was holding Meyshna's hand. All she knew was Ashwin's going to say something, she felt it.

Ashwin: this is the first time I'm doing this, I'm surprised, shocked and having all kind of feelings for myself. To be talking to you, the girl I had crush years ago, the girl who came into my life when I least expected it and the girl who told me how much I mean to her. Beautiful, is what I could think of to describe our relationship, from how we started off and to where we are now. I honestly wasn't expecting it to turn out into a good one, especially after knowing your past and then when you knew about me having a crush on you. But Universe has its own ways. Belief and love were there, that has done the magic. On this day, I want you to know that I'll always be there for you, as a friend, as a partner and as your love. I can't promise I'll be perfect or that I'll never make mistakes, but what I can promise is, to love and appreciate you every day, in the way that you have always deserved. Today is indeed a very special day for us, more like for me. The day I first met you, through Ashna, the day I had a weird feeling in me, the day that has more meaning today. From then till now one thing hasn't changed at all, it's the way how my heart skips a beat whenever I see you, each time I see you adjust your hair, that's how I saw you first, there, exactly like what you just did. That feeling..god, I can't explain. I may sound cheesy, but this is how I am, and you'll have to bear with all these cheesiness. Meyshna went speechless hearing Ashwin saying all of it, she remained silent for a while before replying back to him.

Meyshna: Really, today is the day?

Ashwin: yes (with a wide smile)

Meyshna: no words! You made me speechless for sure. Your silence had it's meaning, I understood what you tried to convey through silence the other, idhelam pani dhan convey pananumnu illa, I hope you know that. All I can say is, I'm blessed. Blessed to have someone like you

Ashwin: ya theriyum but this all that you deserve, all this love and appreciation. You deserve way more than this. And I've got a small gift for you

Ashwin then took his laptop and played a video where he had compiled, Idhuvum Kadhandhu Pogum, Avalum Naanum, and the proposal video. He made it like a film in whole, showing a happy ending and gifted it to Meyshna.

Ashwin: This is for you. To know that it has always been you

Meyshna: I knew you're a romantic person, but I wasn't expecting this, what have you done...
