what is this?

The orb soon glowed brighter and brighter until it engulfed the whole place and she could no longer see anything

"Ms. Shin?"

Suddenly, a familiar voice that carried a hint of surprise can be heard as a silhouette approached her in a fast pace.
At first, it looked like Tanmoku ki but as her sight adjusted and upon closer inspection, Shin Shiyou couldn't help but gasp

It was no other than Rakugetsu, Tanmoku ki's Ancestor. Although shin shiyou have not seen him in person, she had heard about him, and based on what she heard, he was already gone.

How could he be here?

The guy before her sighed
"I know, you must be asking why im here, right?" Shin shiyou didn't even have to answer.
"I've already passed away and so are you"

Upon hearing this, Shin Shiyou's pupils contracted making the guy before her, laugh.

"KIDDING! Of course, you're not dead. I don't know why I'm here either" Rakugetsu shrugged his shoulders
" I thought after I'm gone, I could already see him but who would have thought that I'll be trapped here"

His expression turned from carefree to a serious one
"But I do know why you're here"

Shin Shiyou gathered her courage to ask " why am i here?"
The guy before her scoffed as he reached for her cheek
"Hmm... Cant wait?"

"Just tell me" Shin Shiyou demanded ,pissed making Rakugetsu smile
"You really are a tough one. No wonder" As he said this, he slowly reached out to pat her head

"However, you need more than that" after saying this, the whole place started to shake
"Whats going on?" Shin Shiyou glanced at Rakugetsu and was shocked to see that he was fading away!

"It's happening, keep in mind that you must-"

"Ms.Shin" Ouyou You caressed her hair as he muttered her name softly, his head hanging low "I.... I'm sorry" he uttered under his breath " I couldn't protect you back then...im sorry," he said repeatedly as if the person lying on the bed would never hear it
"what are you doing?" a familiar voice brought Ouyou You back to his senses and only then did he realized that he was actually leaning too close to Shin Shiyou who just woke up, too close that if he'd only move a little bit closer then his lips might be able to feel her soft cheeks

realizing this, Ouyou You felt his cheeks burn while his heart was throbbing widely which put his mind into chaos
" Move," Shin Shiyou said through gritted teeth

".."

"Sure sure" Ouyou You did as he was told to do. He scratched his head in total embarrassment
"Are you hungry?" He asked
"Tanmoku-san " Shin Shiyou absent mindedly spoke

Hearing this, Ouyou felt disheartened. his aura turned gloomy as he lowered his head just then, the door behind him opened revealing a tall figure -it was Tanmoku ki!
Shin Shiyou's eyes brightened as soon as she saw who was at the door she immediately called
"Tanmoku-san!"

"Ms. Shin you really should stop calling him whenever you want-" Ouyou you rushed to stop Ms.Shin who was about to get off the bed

"What's wrong with you?" Shin Shiyou kept pushing Ouyou You away from her. At this point, two people who looked like a bickering couple were pushing each other off and to the bed.

This scene really made Tanmoku's head hurt so he decided to leave the room again for good. As he closed the door behind him, he could hear Shin Shiyou calling out to him again but he did not dare to mind her.
' Atleast now she is fine ' he thought to himself

"Oii!!! Ouyou you!!" Shin Shinyou suddenly gained the strength to push Ouyou off the bed. With a thud, Ouyou You fell to the floor
"Ms.Shin-"

"You are annoying" Shin Shiyou cut him off.

Ouyou You couldn't help but smile at her though she look a bit scary when mad, he had to admit that she is also cute it was as if he could see smoke emitting from her but due to her cuteness and what she wears right now, it only made her look like a helpless child.

God knows how much he wants to pat her head right now and tease her more but remembering how Shin Shiyou sacrificed herself just to save Tanmoku ki, who is his friend and also his love rival, this thought alone makes him more gloomy and sad but he couldn't just confess to her and claim her right?

This tortured his heart

The next morning

In tetsu woke up as his female assistant woke him up. He groaned and got up
"What?" Said In tetsu  rubbing his throbbing head. The small girl then said in a rush
"I heard that the mansion has been in chaos for a while now " she paused.

Then whispered
"I also heard that the Youmeshi's Spirit shadow is acting weird"

"Acting weird?" He repeated as if trying to guess something. The girl nodded in response
"He's been acting odd for a while now" She added  "Don't you think you should give them a visit?
In tetsu frowned as he tried to remember something

" That, I still have to think about " He finally said after some time
"But-"

"No buts ." He cut her off before heading deeper into the woods. When he arrived at a certain place, In tetsu inspected the area and felt that something was wrong.

Just what in the world went wrong?
