"Who could predict the future?"

Shin Shiyou muttered to herself. Beside her, Ouyou You was sitting with a cup of coffee and an ice pack over his head.

After being beaten up by Shin Shiyou for following her around, Ouyou You finally behaved.

"Why? Do you want to know who will be your husband?" Ouyou You hopelessly asked. Shin Shiyou turned to look at him and snorted.

"You're useless," she said before going back to her thoughts.

Three days ago when she was in a coma, Shin Shiyou experienced an unexpected phenomenon that caused her to feel dazed until now. In that dream, she saw Tanmoku Ki's ancestor which does not make sense cause based on what she heard, Rakugetsu was slayed by You Keika himself.

Now thinking about it, she even seemed to hear Rakugetsu saying something to her like he was giving her some kind of warning.

"That must be it!" Shin Shiyou snapped her fingers eagerly.

"He must be telling me something about that puppet!" She added.

Shin Shiyou had long since discovered that the 'You Keika' who suddenly showed up to them was an impostor however due to the lack of proof, Shin Shiyou can only observe. When they were attacked by the wolves and 'You Keika' disappeared, her suspicion grew and with You Keika's stubborn personality, he would never leave Tanmoku Ki defenseless.

Yet he did.

In the end, the strange behavior of 'You Keika' can only be due to him being an impostor!

"What about it? We let the fake You Keika escape and even harming the Youmeishi while the real You Keika is nowhere to be found. Just what happened to the soul-binding contract?" Shin Shiyou glared at the complaining Ouyou You.

"Even you noticed something was amiss. Why didn't you do anything?" She rebuked.

Just then, her face brightened
"I have an idea!"

"??"

Before Ouyou You can even ask, Shin Shiyou fished out her laptop and started typing at a lightning speed.

"Woah.." Ouyou You couldn't help but exclaim
"You actually are a fast typer" He commented as he watched the screen flicker with every movement Shin Shiyou makes.

"Hi...can..of course....how...i ..... Fine... Sure...what?" Ouyou You tried to read what Shin Shiyou was typing but due to the speed at which the message moves, he ended up as a mess.

Shin Shiyou then clenched her fists until they made a cracking noise before tilting her head to the side obviously warming up
"Phew. You're finally done" Ouyou You also stretched his back

"What done? I'm only about to start!"

Meanwhile~

"What should we do, big bro?" The little boy named Takahashi looked at his older brother, Hayashi.

"We obviously can't let that ghost wander around here" Hayashi frowned. Beside him, Takahashi stared at the blank paper in his hand. He also couldn't help but frown.

"Why don't we keep him instead?" Takahashi abruptly suggested.

"No, we can't bring him with us either. We don't know about his real intention" Hayashi turned him down indifferently. He believed that the reason You Keika approached them was that he knew of their little secret so they have to be extra cautious.

"Why not? Since we decided to capture him might as well keep him" Hayashi looked at his little brother with utter confusion. He never thought his little brother would be this sentimental.

They both know that a ghost who doesn't leave the world after seven days will turn into an evil spirit. However, it seemed that Takahashi have own his principle.

"Also, we were the ones who found him. He never approached us"

In the end, Hayashi decided to go with Takahashi's suggestion: they took the ghost they captured to a small house.

The house was relatively small for two people to live together but it was clean nevertheless.
A strange array formation was drawn on the floor using blood as a medium.

Takahashi sat in the middle of the formation surrounded by five candles while holding a blank paper.
"Be careful" Hayashi reminded his brother before closing the door behind them.

He then took out a pocket knife to prepare for any unforeseen circumstances. As he did, the pocket knife slowly emitted a faint blue glow amidst the dimly lit room.

Takahashi did not answer and instead bit his finger until blood oozed from it. Then, using his blood, he began writing symbols on the blank paper.

"Swosh"

The symbols written on the paper using Takahashi's blood slowly gave off an intimidating aura as the blood started to turn gold.

"Crackle crackle"
In a span of ten seconds, the paper slowly melted under the golden letters' unknown fire.

"With this, not only can we release the ghost sealed within this paper, but we will also see his true form!" Takahashi declared.

The brothers watched as the paper burned and a faint white glow seeped out of it to form a shape in front of Takahashi.
Hayashi on the other hand prepared to aim his knife in case of an accident.

A normal knife might not be harmful to any evil spirits but Hayashi's pocket knife was different.
Hayashi got this knife of his from his once influential ancestors.

Seconds later, the mist successfully formed the shape of a grown man. The
man's body was tall and well-built while his hair was long.

Both Takahashi and Hayashi stared in confusion.

"Takahashi, you sure you trapped the right ghost?" Hayashi couldn't help asking.

Takahashi gave the burnt out paper one last glance before answering   "Yes. It was that skinny weak ghost. How could he change so quickly?"

"That must be his true form!" Takahashi concluded.

The brothers looked at each other in confusion.

But what confused them even more was the fact that the 'true form' of the ghost that they caught actually radiated a unique glow that could only belong to the Youmeishi!

Hayashi's eyes widened. Stunned, he yanked Takahashi and shoved his brother behind him.
"What is this? " He muttered to himself.

"What is that glow? Are you a god?" Takahashi blurted out.

Just then, You Keika's voice resounded

"I am...not a god"
