Returning

The sky above is dark with no stars at all however, for him, it looked exceptionally beautiful
moments later, the night grew deeper and everything around him grew silent like the calm before the storm

He had been exhausted; too exhausted that he can't even lift his finger. He felt like he can't drag on like this anymore with chains still attached to him making him feel that escaping is impossible. Hopeless might be an understatement for what he feels right now
Though he woke up outside, free from all those nasty tortures, and can finally run to Tanmoku Ki's side again, it could only give him very little hope

If only he could use telepathic communication right now he thought
Tanmoku ki is probably worried but it has been so many days since he was locked out in a cell, both his arms were chained he waited and hoped that someone would save him but in the end, no one came to help him. Now that he has been released, he felt happy but also  disappointed in himself

'What a useless spirit shadow. I couldn't even defend myself so how could I defend my master' You Keika scolded himself through gritted teeth. It has been a while since he felt this disappointed towards himself for being incompetent. He had already passed this hopeless stage back in the time when he met Tanmoku Ki's ancestor but who would have thought that he would experience this again

And as usual, he stayed useless.

Many questions flooded You Keika's mind. Perhaps he was too distracted that he didn't notice the tear that fell

"Are you going to the celebration tomorrow?"

A voice can be heard from afar. You Keika weakly looked everywhere in an attempt to search for the whereabouts of that voice.

"Yes. are you coming with me?" Ask another. As they walked closer in his direction, he could now clearly identify that those were voices of man's one was older and the other seemed younger and they were walking towards his direction!

"W..wait" Keika coughed as he crawled to the boys who were conversing about something

"Oh please, I know you just wanted to see Lady Minato " 

"Don't talk as if you don't want to see her sister"
The boys laughed at each other's crazy thoughts when suddenly the little boy stopped. The older one looked down at him and asked.  "Takahashi, what's wrong?" The little boy slowly lifted his finger and pointed it towards the darkness

"Eh? There's nothing there" The other guy lifted his lamp and saw the same thing the little boy saw: a man crawling towards them– no it's not a man, it's a ghost! The little boy panicked and hid behind his brother tugging at his shirt, he said
"Why would there be a ghost here? Also, I don't think I've seen this kind of ghost before"

"Hey, you!" The guy shouted at the weak ghost. You Keika, on the other hand, felt rather shocked and embarrassed for being called a ghost. You Keika found this  helpful anyway so he tried his best to get up on his knees
"Ugh...please help me..I'm.t.tired" Why was he so weak though?

The boys looked at each other and then the Ghost

"He doesn't seem dangerous to me" the little boy named Takahashi looked up at his brother who just nodded at him
before looking back at You Keika
"Who are you And why are you here?" 

You Keika almost felt terrible for this kid. He really would be asking these things instead of helping a helpless stranger like him.

But come to think of it this could be considered a normal reaction of a child. Before Keika could even answer however, the older guy already beat him to it "Since my brother thinks you're not dangerous then I will help you" The guy said before pulling something out from his pocket

You Keika's eyes widened as the kid draw out a talisman that doesn't look strong but doesn't emit a weak aura either "This.... "

The boy raised the talisman as he chanted something, his two fingers resting below his chin. This can only be described as a smooth and fine way of capturing a soul

The talisman emitted a low light just enough to suck him into the light now his fate depends on the boy.
Keika could only mutter a few words before disappearing

"It's the exorcism talisman "

"After that, no one knows where he went" Tanmoku Ki muttered to Jimei
It has been 3 days now and he still couldn't find a way to retrieve the abducted Keika nor can he access his telepathy

"Have you tried using the summoning ritual?" Jimei suggested.

Tanmoku ki nodded
"sadly, everything seemed to be well planned on the day Keika was kidnapped" he added. Hearing this, Jimei could only quietly ponder.

"Tanmoku Ki, Don't you think that that Spirit shadow of yours is a little bit inconvenient?"

Tanmoku ki snapped "How is he inconvenient? You don't even know him that well aside from his paper information " this only made Tanmoku Ki feel like he was going to burst out in anger anytime soon so he decided to walk out and left Jimei speechless
