The boys were now headed to their lockers

"I've said what I said, strawberries are better than blueberries" Taehyung said

"Yeah yeah. Okay" Yoongi said

They were almost near when they saw a silhouette running away from Jungkook's locker

It was obviously Jennie

"Your sister's at it again Jin hyung" Namjoon chuckled

They immediately approached Jungkook's locker, opening it

A letter fell from it, the 4th one that week

Jungkook picked up the paper

"Open it Kook" Taehyung said elbowing Jungkook

Jungkook slowly opened the letter slowly and sure enough, it was the same familiar words

Hi :) I like you -Admirer

Jungkook smiled

She had been sending him the same letter for a month now

They were friends, good friends. Having the same circle of friends. Hanging out together

Their friends knew Jennie liked Jungkook, they knew she was sending those letters. Even Jungkook knew

Except Jennie tho

She had no idea that they knew about the letters. She was clueless

It was cute, they thought

"Jennie's so cute" Hoseok said laughing

"It's funny how she has no idea we know" Jimin said

Jin just shook his head at his sister's behaviour

"Aren't you gonna tell her Kook?" Namjoon asked glancing at Jungkook

"Tell her what?" Jungkook answered without looking back

"About... nevermind" Namjoon shook his head and proceeded to open his locker

Jungkook just smile

"Oh my god. Why were you running Kim Jennie?" Jisoo asked when a sweaty Jennie approached them

"I...uh...I thought you guys were eating already so I had to hurry" she smiled at them inoccently

"Hmm" Lisa stared at Jennie, "Are you sure?" Jennie just nodded then sat down

They started to eat and talk

A few minutes later, the boys entered the cafeteria

"We already finished eating snacks" Jisoo said as soon as the boys stood by their table

"That's okay. We already ate some muffins Nancy made for Kook" Jimin teased

Jennie tensed up hearing Nancy's name. She was pretty and for Jennie? She thinks she couldn't even compare to Nancy's beauty

"Ohh" Jisoo glanced at Jennie who pretended to read a book, "Then what are you guys doing here?" she asked with one eyebrow raised

Lisa and Rosé just listened to the conversation

"Meh. Just hanging" Jin said and glanced at his sister, "Mom said you aren't picking up. You should call her"

Jennie's eyes went wide, "Oh my god. I forgot my phone inside my locker" she immediately stood up and ran out of the cafeteria

"You owe me one Jungkook" Jin glanced at Jungkook

"Yaaah!! me too" Taehyung glared at Jin

The others were confused

"Hi unnie" the juniors waved at Jennie as she walked passed them

She smiled and waved back, "You guys should head home already. Don't stay out late"

They smiled at her and immediately left

Finally, she reached her locker. It creeped her out how deserted the hallway was

Opening it, a letter and blue rose fell

She picked it up and opened the letter reading the words inside which made her heart skip a beat

Hey :) I like you too -Jungkook

"Jennie"

Jennie looked back and there he was...

...Jungkook

The rays from the sunset coming through the glass panes would be the witness of their blooming love
