Chapter 32 - Avengers

*Tom pov*

"Ellie, Alex! Grandma is here!"!I call opening the door to my mum
"Hi darling" she says giving me a hug
"Hi" and I hug her back
"Grandma!" The kids come shouting
"Oh look at you! Come give me a hug"
After letting her in I tell the kids to go grab their bags as mum and I talk on the sofa
"Where's Charlotte?"
"She is relaxing in the tub upstairs...she's a bit nervous about tonight"
"She'll do great, you both are going to look so beautiful! What are you wearing?"
"Uh a black tux"
"My handsome boy" she says caressing my cheek and I smile at her expression
"We're ready!" Ellie says
Mum and I stand up from the sofa and I hug the kids
"Be good to grandma"
"Of course, we'll watch from the tv tonight"
""Yeah!" Alex says
"Ok! Now go and have a fun, love you" I say closing the door behind me.
I slowly walk upstairs and into our bathroom.
"Ehy" Charlotte says
"Hi, are you having a great time?"
"Yes, it's what I needed"
"Good, can I do something for you before I shower?"
"Massage my shoulders?" She says looking up at me
I sit on the side of the tub and gently rub my hands on her shoulders
"Mmm"
"Just relax darling"

Half an hour passes and she gets out of the tub as I take my shower
"I'm going to start get ready babe!" She says walking out of the bathroom
I take my time under the water and once out and dried I style my hair and adjust the beard.
As I enter back in the bedroom she's sitting on a chair doing her makeup...most celebrities have people doing their make up but she chose to do it herself.
"You look absolutely stunning dear" I say kissing her neck
"Tom, I'm doing my make up and I'm still in a robe"
"And so what? Still stunning to me"
"Alright Prince Charming get that tux on you!" She says swatting me away
I start to put socks and pants on, then I proceed with the white shirt and cuff links, bow tie and I'll put my jacket on later.
"I'm almost ready!"
"Don't worry darling, you've got another 30 minutes until we need to drive away"
"Ok! Uhm...do you mind come in here and help me?" She says from the walking closet.
I make my way to her and just stand there looking at the beautiful woman in front of me
"Pick up your jaw Mr"
"Eheheheheheh! What...what do you need?"
"Zip me up, please"
She turns her shoulders to me and I put a hand on the small of her back and with the other I zip her up. I then turn her in my arms and get lost in her beauty.
"Hi" she says
"Hi"
I kiss her on the lips as we stand there a bit more.

At 7 we drive away and during the whole car ride I hold her hand.
When we arrive and wait our turn there are already lots of flashes going of and people screaming.
"Ready?"
"I think so..." she says a bit unsure
"Just hold my hand"
I exit the care and make my way on the other side of it, I open her door and help her get out.
Photographers take their moments to snap pictures of us and then I sign a few autographs before we are called on the red carpet.

"Brother!" I hear Chris H shout
"Come with me" I say to Charlotte sand we walk slowly to Chris and his wife
The two of us hug like we haven't seen each other in ages and Charlotte greets Elsa.
"Nice to see you Brit" Elsa says to me
"Nice to see you too...and look at that, you are glowing!" I say looking at her baby bump.
She's expecting their first child, a little girl, and she's got little time left
I hug her and the crowd goes mad, they suggest the two of us to take some photos so I lean my head on her belly as if I'm talking to the baby.
Once I answer a few questions and meet some of the others they let us go in the theater, where Charlie goes to her seat and I make my way backstage.
Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige introduce he cast one by one and we make small talk before taking our seats and the film starts.
"You are very evil Mr. Loki...but I like it!" Charlotte whispers in my ear as the scene where I fight with Thor on the top of the Stark Tower ends.

*Charlotte pov*

The movie was simply amazing and I'm so proud of Tom and all of the cast for how they acted in it!
We are now in a private room with Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Chris Evans, Scarlett, Robert and his wife, Jeremy and Mark.
I sit momentarily with the ladies as the boys get some drinks for everyone.
"How much do you still got left?" I ask Elsa
"Five weeks"
"Wow!"
"Oh by the way...Chris sent me a couple of pictures of your kids, they are so beautiful!"
"Thank you!"
"I bet they watched the red carpet on tv" Susan says
"Oh definitely!"
"So...the wedding is soon..."
"Yes! Honestly I can't wait, Tom completely turned our lives and he is the best dad to the kids"
"He always loved kids" Elsa says
"Are you going to have any more kids?"
"We've talked about it a couple of weeks ago and yes, we both do...he really wants a girl!"
"We knew that already!" Susan says

After more talking and a couple of drinks Tom and I headed home, tired but very happy to have spent such a beautiful night with friends.
