Our flight landed in Italy with a three hour delay...anyway after going through baggage claim we finally made it out of the airport and into a car that brought us to our hotel. Because we are in Italy we are not experiencing any jet leg, so after unpacking we grab our rental car and drive to our first destination: the historic centre of Rome. Oh we have a lot to visit! First thing first the magnificent Colosseum! "Woah! The thing is huge!" Alex says "Eheheh it is, and look how beautiful" We started visiting, in our disguise clothes, hoping they would work, since I have to make an appearance later today and no one knows, or at least is suppose to know, that I'm here.

Useless to say that the colosseum was awesome, we also went to the Roman Forum, not far away from the colosseum, which structure was used to held local celebrations and festivals but also the funerals of known personality of the city.
After all our touring we went back to the hotel and changed in more elegant clothes. Tonight in Rome is held a runaway show for Armani. So I am now wearing one of their suits, and going to the show with the family.
The people working backstage let Charlotte and the kids go sit on their chairs and me waiting behind the curtains for my cue to step on stage.
"Mr. Hiddleston we are ready for you" a lady says in a quite perfect English. "E ora un'ospite importante, di fama mondiale, date un benvenuto a Tom Hiddleston!" (And now an important guest, know worldwide, give a warm welcome to Tom Hiddleston!) The crowd cheers loudly as soon as I step on stage and walk down it, stopping a couple of time, just like a model would do. "Hi Tom! It's such a pleasure to have you in Rome and on this runaway show for Armani" "Thank you! I'm glad to be here and get to visit not only your beautiful city but your country in general as we will be visiting other cities too. And having this amazing suit on right now is a privilege!" The crowd cheers once again, we do a little interview since the show was ending and then I go to the changing room and slip back on my clothes. The kids and Charlotte join me soon after and we drive to the restaurant where we reserved our dinner, right in front of the colosseum.
Today has sure been a long and exciting day, but tomorrow will be also, especially for Ellie.
