Hyunjin- Popular Pt. 2

       It was 5 in the morning and you had let out a groan. You got up and stretched, still tired from yesterday. You looked around and remembered you were in Hyunjin's room, immediately blushing. "I can't believe I agreed to stay the night."
       You got up and snuck out of his room, hoping to get to your school bag and get your clothes. You wanted to change and leave before he got up. "Y/n? What are you doing?" You turned around to see him rubbing his eyes. "Sorry for waking you up. I was just gonna get changed and go." He looked at you with a pout and tilted his head. "Why would you leave? If you had trouble sleeping you could come get me. I wouldn't mind staying up with you!" He looked like a child who had just been told his toy was being taken.
       You smiled slightly and shrugged. "I guess I can stay if you want me to." He smiled wide and grabbed your hand, dragging you to the couch. "Wait here." He smiled a cute eye smile and went to the kitchen, grabbing some snacks. He then went and grabbed a bunch of blankets and dumped them on you, laughing when you disappeared under them. He plopped down next to you and started flipping through the movies. "What are we watching?" You stared at him in awe. All of this just because you woke up a little early and couldn't go back to sleep. You picked out your favorite and blushed when he put the blankets over you two.
       After a while, he spoke up. "What happened to your cheek?" You got wide eyed since you completely forgot about your bruises. "I just smacked myself in the face with something." He looked at you with a confused look. "What would leave that big of a bruise?" You didn't want to bother him with it, especially since the girls did it because of him. "A ruler." You said it in a bit of a questioning tone so he didn't really believe you. He left it alone though since he didn't want to push you too far. "Ok. Tell me next time though. I got worried when I saw the bruise with no explanation." He wanted you to come to him in your own time.

*time skip*

       It was finally lunch and you sat by your tree. You waited for Hyunjin but he was taking longer than normal. Suddenly there were the girls that had attacked you before you went to his house. They all had an angry look on their faces and you could tell you had done something wrong. "Didn't we tell you to stay away from Hyunjin?!" One of them yelled at you when she got close enough. "Yes?" Another scoffed and stepped forward. "Yes? Don't say it like it's a question when you know damn well it's not." She took your bag and tossed it across the lawn you were sitting on. "I didn't know he was your property. I would say sorry but I'm not." You went to get your bag and the things that spilled from it when you were suddenly shoved against the tree. "Wow, getting cocky huh?" When you were about to say something, you were cut off by someone yelling. "What are you doing to her?" Hyunjin was making his way right for you and the girls and he was not happy. The girls let you go and stepped away, fearful of his now intense and angry gaze. "You didn't answer me. What do you think you're doing touching her?" He was standing protectively in front of you and you instinctively grabbed his wrist to try and calm him down. "It wasn't us! She started it!" Hyunjin pointed a finger at all of the girls and they coward back in fear. "If you ever touch my girlfriend again, I will never forgive you. This is your first and only warning!"
The girls ran off and you were left stunned. "Hyunjin? You ok? You called me your girlfriend you know." He turned around and ignored you, too focused on looking for marks. "Hyunjin. They'll spread rumors." He furrowed his brows and gently grabbed both sides of your face. "I know what I said. I'm making sure you're not hurt. I could care less if I dropped in social status. I have you by my side. Right?" Your eyes got wide for a second and then you nodded. "Of course! I'll always stand by you." He smiled and nodded. "So it's settled, you're my girlfriend from now on." He patted your head and sat down. "I got an A by the way. All thanks to you." You sat next to him and smiled. "I know. You'd be a mess if it weren't for me." You smiled wide at him and he just laughed. "Whatever nerd." A breeze blew by and in that moment you were the most content you had been in a long while. With your best boy, Hwang Hyunjin.
