Bucky took Zemo away from the mill and Sam flew Mallory to a hospital to check everything was OK.

He pushed Zemo to the ground and pointed a gun to his head, "I wanted to kill you."

"And you're not?" Zemo looked up, unfazed by the gun pressed against his forehead.

"I'm still not sure. I didn't want Mallory to do it. I already have enough blood on my hands, what's one more?" Bucky shrugged.

That was the only reason he didn't want her to kill him; those memories, the guilt, she wouldn't be able to live with herself, no matter how awful Zemo was... she was too good and pure for that. Him on the other hand.... really what was one more person?

"She's the last good thing in my life. You would have killed her, so why shouldn't I kill you?" Bucky asked

"True. The world does not need super soldiers let alone a super soldier witch." Zemo explained, keeping his voice calm and flat.

"You never went after me. Why?"

"You never asked for it."

"Neither did Mallory."

"She is a Rogers. They are a stubborn family. They were born with this power, and those born to power never know it's dangers."

Bucky scoffed, "she's not dangerous."

"Not yet. But you saw her in there. The energy she used. That power came from within, from her raw feelings." Zemo let out a small smirk as Bucky frowned, "if you were not there, she would have killed me. She wanted to. She had the same look in her eyes as you do now."

Bucky blinked a few times, trying not to be so easy to read. Of course the gun to the head gave away his intentions. "She is Steve. There's so much of him in her. Steve wasn't dangerous, and neither is she. Emotions get the best of us sometimes." Bucky sighed.

"I hope you are correct. But I fear you are wrong."

Bucky cocked the gun and pressed it harder against hill Zemos head. "Don't worry....." Bucky lowered the gun, "you'll find out."

A couple of officers finally arrived to arrest Zemo, taking him to the maximum security prison - The Raft....
