Imagine #3 - Memories {Bucky}

You are 15 years old and with hydra. This happened right after Bucky got in the fight with Steve and recognized him.

" I knew him"

" Wipe him"

" But sir, He's been out of cryo so long that - "

" I don't care, Wipe Him"

You found the winter soldier in the chair where he gets his mind wiped. You always felt bad for him, While both of you didn't really have a choice, he didn't choose this. Hydra killed your parents and took you in, they told you your parents left you. He was just regaining consciousness. He started to stir. You made a decision you hoped you wouldn't regret.

"Stay still, blue." You called him by his nickname. You were a small kid about 6 years old when you got introduced and you didn't know how to say soldier so you just called him blue of his eye color. They never told you his real name, and he said that he didn't know it.

"No, No please not again" He brokenly pleaded, Thinking you were someone else.

"It's y/n, this won't hurt." you told him while fidgeting with the machine, You flipped a switch that would hopefully give him his memory back. You slowly pulled the lever which started the machine.

He lost consciousness again, you sat down and started playing with a thin piece of rope that you found. Once he regained consciousness, you asked him the most important question " do you remember who you are". He took his time answering your question. He told you who Steve was.

He grabbed the rope that you had set down by now and held it. "I tried to kill him, I guess it's the end of the line. '' He said with such vulnerability that it made your heart break.

You took the rope back and wrapped it around his wrist and tied it. " Now there's no end, I promise I will do whatever I can to help you find him." you promised him. He gave you a thankful smile. "Besides, It won't be to hard with your memories back"
