Jennie watches the man sitting in front of her carefully, trying to gauge his intentions. He honestly seems like a person just trying to help someone in need, but a woman can never be too careful.
"What would you like to order?" he questions, peaking over the menu at her with curious eyes, he too trying to gauge if she is a kind person.
"Ah, I think I'll just have some dwaeji bulgogi," Jennie replies after giving the menu in front of her a once over.
"I'll take the same," he says, eyes crinkling slightly as he softly smiles at her before yelling to the ajumma running the restaurant to take their order.
"You know, I don't think I ever got your name," he says, setting the menu down and crossing his long legs as he leans back into his chair.
"Oh! Right, I'm Jennie, Kim Jennie," She says, flashing him a quick smile and reaching her hand out from him to shake.
"Nice to meet you Jennie," He replies, chuckling a little as he takes her small hand in his and gives it a shake, "I'm Taehyung, Kim Taehyung."
"Likewise, Taehyung-ssi," Jennie replies, noting a tug on Taehyung's lips when she utters his name.
"Just Taehyung."
"Okay, just Taehyung," Jennie repeats jokingly before exclaiming in delight at the food that is delivered to their table. Taehyung picks up his chopsticks and prepares to dig in when a small hand reaches out in front of him.
"Wait, let me take pictures," Jennie pouts, pulling her phone out of her purse. Taehyung sighs and sits back, the aroma of the food sitting on the table torturing him as Jennie snaps pictures of the food.
"Do you want me to take a picture of you too?" Taehyung asks, looking at Jennie with a handout, expecting her to give him her phone.
"You'd do that?" Jennie exclaims happily, handing her phone to Taehyung excitedly and poses, letting Taehyung snap a few pictures with her phone.
"Okay!" Jennie exclaims, "let's eat."
"Wait," Taehyung says, stopping her, "you have to take some of me too."
"Really?" Jennie asks, rapidly blinking at the man in front of her.
"Yeah duh, you really think I would just take pictures of you?" Taehyung pouts, handing her his phone and posing. Jennie grins at the silliness of the man and snaps a few pictures and handing his phone back to him. He returns her phone to her small hands and she swipes through the photos he took, forgetting about the food in front of them.
