Chapter 7

Catrina's POV:

Mia ends up falling asleep during the middle of the movie. I walk out of the room, heading over to Carlo's office. I want to ask him if I could have a bachelorette party at a club or something.

Walking into the office, I see him typing away on his laptop, he's so concentrated on his work that he doesn't notice me waking in. I clear my throat, his gaze snapping to me.

"What do you want?" He asked leaning back into his chair.

"I wanted to know if I could have a bachelorette party at a club or something." I shrugged.

"No." Is all he said before looking back at his laptop.

"What? Why not?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"Because I don't feel like handling your hangover ass tomorrow and it could be dangerous." He answered.

"Since when do you care about my safety?" I muttered walking closer to his desk.

"Since you will be my wife starting tomorrow, I don't want the bride to be dead before the wedding even starts!" He stated getting frustrated.

"I know how to handle myself." I argued.

"Leave, you're testing my patience." He responded before he starts to type again on his laptop.

"Fine."

I walk out of his room, heading back to Mia's room. When I walk in, I see she's awake again.

"He said no!" I muttered annoyed.

"We could try to sneak out?" She suggested.

"I guess." I shrugged.

"When will we be leaving then?" I question.

"8:00?" She asked.

"Perfect,"

I put the finishing touches on my hair and finish doing my eyeliner. I slip into this short red dress and some heels.

The dress:

I walk out of Mia's bathroom, seeing her slip on a pair of heels.

"Ready?" I asked her.

"Yep! Let's get going." She replied.

We sneak downstairs and see Maria in the living room with Antonio. They didn't seem to notice us, so we kept walking quietly.

We see Leo, Carlo's brother near the entrance, talking on his phone. He starts to walk towards the kitchen and goes inside it.

"Shh," Mia puts her finger on her lips.

We keep walking till we make it out of the mansion. Alex will be joining us, since it is a bachelorette party after all.

"We made it out!" Mia cheered.

"Shh don't want anyone hearing us now do we?" I asked her.

She nods and we walk over to this black suv. I walk over to the passengers side and get into the car. Mia gets into the driver's seat and starts to drive out the gates of the house.

"We actually did it," I laughed.

"Yeah, but we almost got caught by Leo." She chuckled.

I turn on the radio and listen to music. We pull up to Alex's apartment complex and I pull out my phone to text her.

Me: We're at the front waiting for you

Alex: Ok I'm heading downstairs now

I see Alex walking through the front doors, she walks over to the car and opens the door.

"Hey bitches!" She laughed.

"Should we get this party started?" I smirk.

"Hell yeah!" They both replied.

I turn the volume up of the music up, leaning back into my chair.

We arrive to the club and and get out of the club. It doesn't look so crowded, but not too empty so it won't look suspicious.

We walk over to the front and show the bouncer out ids. They let us go and we walk inside.

This place was amazing, we walk over to the bar and order some drinks.

"What could I get you ladies?" The bartender asked.

"Can we get three tequila shots," I replied.

He nods and goes pours us some shots, handing them to us. Mia shows him some VIP thing or some shit, so we can get free drinks tonight.

"Cheers to Catrina and Carlo's fake marriage!" Alex yelled.

Mia's eyes widened, shit.

"She didn't know Alex..." I mumbled.

"Oh, my bad." she awkwardly says.

"I'll explain it to you later Mia." I explained.

"Good," she says gulping down her shot, while Alex and I do the same.

"Let's go dance." Mia suggested.

Alex and I agree and head to the dance floor. I start dancing, putting my hands in my hair, moving my hips.

I see Alex go to the bar for more drinks, while Mia's dancing beside me. We walk back over to our table and drink some vodka sodas.

I don't know how many drinks we've had, but we're dancing on the dancing floor.

"I have to use the restroom!" I shouted over the music.

Alex and Mia nod " Do you need us to come with you?" Alex asked.

I shake my head "I'll be fine," I replied.

They both nod their heads, I walk over to the restroom stall, entering it. I use the bathroom the walk out of the stall and wash my hands at the sink.

Suddenly a guy who can barely hold himself up walks in.

"This is the lady's restroom." I stated.

"You look nice tonight sweetheart." He smirks walking closer to me.

"Get the fuck away from me!" I shouted backing up.

Before he can get any closer someone stabs him. He clutches his stomach, blood seeping out of him.

What the hell?

"Thank you." I thank the figure before walking over to them in the dark.

"Didn't I tell you to stay home?" The voice asked furiously.

Carlo

Carlo was here and did he look furious.

"Fuck." I mumbled.
