/Chrisaline's POV/

"Today, we'll be meeting up with the gifted and Ms. Kim at the Mystic Garden" Mr. Kim stated

"What for, sir?" I asked

"I don't know if you've heard or not but the gifted had already finished the month-long stay at the partner academies and have just gotten back today" Mr. Kim answered

"And surprisingly, but not really, they also managed to invite your other ends over here" Mr. Kim added

"Wait, what?!" Ayame exclaimed

"For real?!" Cathy asked

"Indeed, let's go now, they are waiting for us" Mr. Kim said as we all excitedly got up and followed him behind

"Now, I want you to behave yourselves in front of them, okay?" Mr. Kim reminded

"Yes, Mr. Kim" We answered in unison

"...and the specials which will be arriving in a few minutes" Ms. Kim said

"We've arrived, sweetie!" Mr. Kim announced as we entered the Mystic Garden

"Unnie!" Alisa exclaimed, running to her sister's side as her red string appeared for a split second

"Hello to you too, little twin" Her sister giggled as she hugged Alisa with one hand as her other hand is holding a boy's

"Now, you might be confused as to why you are all gathered here" Mr. Kim spoke up, all of our attention turning to them

"Other than we have guests that came from the schools the gifted went over to, Mr. Kim and I came to an agreement to have a joint practice between the gifted and the specials just so we could monitor how much each group have grown over the course of time that they had spent here in the academy" Ms. Kim continued

"Now, Ms. Kim and I know that some gifted hasn't been here for long but we're certain that you've been self-training before so I hope it wouldn't be much of a problem" Mr. Kim said

"But before all that, we'll tend to our guests first" Ms. Kim said with a soft smile

"I assume you know of the myth about red strings that connects a person to their soul mate?" Ms. Kim asked

"Yes, ma'am" Akashi-san and our red strings said in unison

"But it's just a myth, is it not?" Momoi, my other end, asked

"Apparently, no, it's not a myth. Specials, if you may" Mr. Kim said as we raised our pinky finger (left for boys, right for us, girls)

Our end of the red string appeared, tied tightly on the very bottom of the finger

"Whoa..." The gifted and our other ends muttered in amazement

"You may be confused as to why we are telling you about this but we were wondering if you are aware that one of them is your soul mate" Ms. Kim said as our other ends look at her in bewilderment

"It's true, Rainbow Academy had been looking after you from the shadows since we found out you were the soul mates of the specials. The same thing happened before with the gifted. It is to make sure you are safe from harm as once the other dies, their soul mate won't be able to love any other person as they are connected by their bond, mate mark or red string" Alisa's sister spoke up

"Even if you fall for another, the feeling of emptiness will still linger as the bond isn't fulfilled or completed" Another one of the gifted said

"That's why Ms. Kim had us watch over you in the past years and it only stopped when you entered high school" Another gifted said

"Do you think they'll believe everything we've said?" Cora asked me

"I'm sure they will" I assured
