Chapter 2: The Pogues

The next morning the Mikaelson's are packed and on the plane to Outer Banks. They are all sitting in a private jet they compelled for themselves talking to each other.
Elijah- do you think Everleigh is anything supernatural, and just doesn't know it?
Rebekah- Is Amelia supernatural?
Klaus- I'm not sure...
Freya- I definitely think Everleigh is something supernatural because I could feel the power radiating off of her
Klaus sat in thought about his youngest daughter amazed at how she is his daughter in the first place.
They finally arrive and pull up to a mansion that they compelled for themselves, and unpack and settle in the main room.
Kol- so what's the plan?
Klaus- Freya is there a way to seeing what she's doing now?
Freya- I think so...let's all join hands
They all stand in a circle and are pulled into a vision of what Everleighs doing now

Everleigh currently
On the beach, the Pogue's are hanging out and surfing with Mackenzie on the sand watching them.
JJ- hey Leigh, I bet I can surf a better wave than you!
Everleigh- oh you're on!
They both get ready and JJ goes first doing a trick on the wave he sees, after Ev does a trick on an even bigger wave.
Kol- wow she's good...
Hope- she's amazing
Kiara- *cheers* yeah Ev!
John B- JJ you got beat!
Pope- so bad!
Everleigh swims towards JJ
Everleigh- told ya! *splashes him with water*
JJ- no you didn't! *he chases her in the water and somehow they both end up on JJ's surf board*
Everleigh- *whispers* hey...
JJ- hey...
Their moment is cut short with John B yelling
John B- yo love birds, pack it up! No Pogue-on-Pogues macking remember the rule!
They swim out and go towards their friends on land
Kiara- *whispers to Everleigh* we are so talking about this later...
*Everleigh blushes*
That makes all the Mikaelson girls smirk knowing Everleigh likes JJ

The Mikaelson's are pulled out of the vision and are back in their house.
Elijah- so they are at the beach...
Klaus- then let's go!
Freya- we have to think about this, we can't just bombard the poor girl
Rebekah- let's just pretend to be a normal family having a beach day
*everyone agrees*
Kol- *sarcastically says* you know it's pretty ironic vampires going to the beach...
*Davina smacks his head*
The Mikaelson's get ready and head to where Freya said they were on the beach, and they set up a mile away since most of them have supernatural hearing

Everleighs POV:
The Pogues and I are at the beach talking, and Kenz is playing in the sand.
Kiara- you know what I hate?
John B- what?
Kiara- people who give 1% to the environment, like we only have one...
I laugh at Kies rant
Everleigh- I believe in save the turtles, does that count?
The boys laugh and Kie death stares me
Everleigh- *puts hands up in defense* joking, joking
At first I froze looking for Mackenzie, thinking I lost her.
Everleigh- *mutters* shit
But then I see her by a family and relief struck over me and I get up and run to Mackenzie to make sure she's not bothering them and the Pogues follow behind me
Everleigh- *yells* Kenz!
Mackenzie turns and looks at me and runs to my legs. I bend to her height, and hug her tight
Everleigh- you scared the crap out of me you can't just run off
Mackenzie- sorry Evie, but I made a friend and met her family
Everleigh cringes at family and everyone seems to notice while her friends give her sympathetic smiles but the Mikaelson's don't not wanting to draw attention
Everleigh- *turns to the family (who are the Mikaelson's but she doesn't know)* I'm so sorry about her she's a wanderer, keeps me on my toes *she jokes*
Klaus- it's not a problem, she's quite cute...
*Everleigh smiles*
Mackenzie- *says excitedly* Ev that's Hope *points to Hope* shes my new friend!
Everleigh- *grabs Mackenzie's hand* don't point it's rude
That makes all the Mikaelson's smile at Everleigh teaching Mackenzie
Mackenzie- *shyly* sorry Ev
Everleigh- it's alright bubba
*JJ turns to Mackenzie*
JJ- *grabs Mackenzie and tickles her* come here you little rascal!
Mackenzie- *giggles* ahh, stop JJ tickles!
Everleigh- *smiles and turns to Hope* hi I'm Everleigh, Mackenzie's sister
Hope- hi nice to meet you
Everleigh- these are my friends Kiara, Pope, John B, and JJ
John B- *turns to the Mikaelson's and asks* are you guys vacationers?
Kiara- *elbows him in the stomach and whispers* rude!
Pope- *sarcastically says* wow dude great people skills
Everleigh- *flicks his forehead* sorry about him apparently he doesn't understand privacy
Elijah- it's quite alright, we actually just moved here
JJ- where do you live?
Kiara- JJ!
Everleigh- must you two always act like two-year-olds!
Rebekah- it's alright darling, we moved to the north side of the island
John B- *whispers to their group, but the Mikaelson can hear* so they are Kooks and this is more of a reason to get out before Rafe and Topper come starting fights
Everleigh- oh my god! Chill out JB
Hope- what are Kooks?
Pope- essentially they are people who live in figure 8, the rich side of the island
Kiara- *turns to her friends* listen the separation is stupid anyway and now that Mackenzie considers Hope a friend she will not let us just forget about them so suck it up...plus not everyone's like Rafe and Topper, and even Sarah
Everleigh- we should probably explain more, seeing as though most of you look lost
Freya- *smiles genuinely at her new found niece* it would be a little helpful
Everleigh- there are two sides to the island figure 8, where the Kooks live. Where they have two houses, or the cut where we live where you have two jobs. Our friend group calls ourselves the Pogues. Kooks and Pogues never really get along, Kooks tend to frown upon people who work hard...but not saying you guys will just talking from past experience
John B- wow that was perfect
Everleigh- thanks bub
Kiara- anyways now that that's over with you guys are a big family...
Mackenzie- *giggles* that's what I said!
Hope- right I should probably introduce you to them seeing as though I know all of you...well that Klaus, my dad, and Hayley, my mom. That's my uncle Elijah who's married to my mom, long story...then there's my aunt Rebekah who's married to essentially my adoptive brother, Marcel. Then uncle Kol, who's married to my aunt Davina, and my aunt Freya who's married to my aunt Keelin
JJ- wow, you guys are confusing
Pope- talk about big family
Everleigh- well it's nice to meet you all
Mackenzie- *turns to Everleigh* Evie can Hope come out in the HMS Pogue, with us tomorrow
Everleigh- *smiles* yeah sure, but you have to ask her if she wants to first
Hope- *confused* what's the HMS Pogue?
John B- our boat
Mackenzie- want to?
Hope looks to her family and they nod
Hope- sure!
Everleigh- okay we can pick you up with Kie if you want it might be easier since she lives on figure 8 too
Hope- I thought you said...
Pope- Kie had a Kook year gone bad, so now she's a Pogue at heart
Kiara- *sarcastically says* thanks Pope, for the story...anyways yeah here hand me your phone
Hope hands her phone over
Kiara- here, I put Ev's and my names in there so I'll text you the address and just text us if you have any questions
Everleigh- sometimes the powers out on the cut so if I don't answer text Kie
John B- shit guys trouble 5 o'clock
Everleigh- quick tip, stay away from Topper and Rafe, douchebags and druggies of the Kooks
Kiara- and Sarah, she's just a bitch
Everleigh laughs
Rafe- *yelling from the background* yo Pogue's!
Pope- and that's our cue, I approximate about a 5% chance we get out of here
JJ- Barry's here too
We all look to see the cops coming towards us
Kol- darling, what did you do?
Everleigh- might have trespassed Kook property, Barry's a little butt hurt we got away
The Mikaelson's smirk at Everleigh
John B- okay, JJ hold onto Mackenzie, and let's go!
Kiara- so boys you are the geniuses which is better cops or idiots who are angry about JJ stealing their beer
Everleigh- I say we split meet back at the Chateau
The Mikaelson's watch amused
John B- okay yeah, no more talk just run!
They all start running in opposite directions
Everleigh- bye Hope see you at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning!
Barry grabs JJ, and the Mikaelson's watch him get away
JJ- *shouts* not much of a hugger man!
*Everleigh laughs*
The opposite direction Pope and John B circle around the Mikaelson's
John B- *he shouts* go Pope, go go go go!
John B- bye Hope see you tomorrow!
After they are gone the Mikaelson's are left on the beach.
Kol- wow Nik definitely your daughter
Everyone nods
Hope- I'm just excited to hang out with people my own age!
Hayley- just be carful Hope
Hope- mom I'll be fine, it's not like they are criminals they are trying to survive
Rebekah- she's right, those kids are doing what makes them happy, instead of thinking of all the bad
Kol- let Hope have a little fun! It won't kill her
Klaus- Hope is going tomorrow, I want her to bond with Everleigh, they are sisters. And we can find out more about Everleigh...
