Prologue

"You are going back to the Philippines?"

I nodded at my close friend while continuing to pack my clothes. He sat on my bed and ran his fingers through his hair. He just looked at me while shaking his head. I didn't mind him because I was too busy.

"Can't you just stay here?" He pouted.

I smiled. "My home is not here, William."

"But France is home, Lene!" 

Natigil ako sa pagtupi ng damit ko at hinarap siya. Nakadapa siya habang nakatingin sa akin. He smiled showing his two cute dimples with his handsome face. Napanganga ako, alam 'kong gwapo 'tong kaibigan ko pero mas naging gwapo siya nang magpa piercing ito sa kaliwang tenga at tattoo. I rolled my eyes and thew the cloth I was holding. 

"But Philippines is also home, Willy!" napatawa ako ng masira ang mukha nito nang tawagin ko siya 'nun. Sa lahat ng ayaw niya ay ang pag tawagin ko siyang 'Willy'.

I met him back when I was still in college. At first, I didn't like him because he was too noisy and a playboy but then he helped me with my passion and that's how we became friends. I was looking for a model when he offered himself. He may not be my first model but we became close because our courses were related. 

William is also half Filipino and French like me. He is a known model with the same agency as some of the top models around the world. Buti na nga lang at magkaibigan kami kaya minsan siya 'yung nagmo-model sa mga designs ko.

"Can't you stop calling me that?" Galit niyang sabi at tinapon sa'kin ang damit.

I stuck out my tongue and folded the cloth he threw. Pagkatapos 'nun ay zi-nip ko na iyong maleta sabay tayo. Lumapit ako sa kanya at pinitik siya sa noo kaya napatihaya siya at napahawak doon. Habang tumatawa ako ay nagulat ako ng bigla niya ako hatakin kaya nasa itaas na niya ako.

"Hey! Let me go!" I shouted while chuckling.

"Non, je ne le ferai pas." He then hugged me, sneaking his face on my shoulders. Wala akong magawa kundi hayaan siya. My flight will be tomorrow, I didn't tell him about that because he was out in New York doing a Photoshoot with Bella Hadid. 

"You can visit me." 

Napabalikwas siya at napaupo. Kinuha ko iyong unan at tinapon siya mukha niya. He was smiling widely, grrr. 

He licked his lips, "Visit you? You sure 'bout that?"

I stood up and went to my dresser when I heard my phone vibrate. Tinignan ko iyon at napangiti nang makitang galing iyon sa isa ko pang kaibigan.
