"Really Liv? You've been working nonstop for weeks let's just go to one party" My best friend Megan says

"Meg why?" I frown

"Because we both could use it. Girl dealing with Monte, and work, plus looking for a new crib I need this night. Please Olivia?" She whines, I shake my head caving in

"Fine Megan I'm giving you 2 hours before I leave and if you take an hour getting dressed it's only gone be 1" I say

"Yes boss" She says assuming the soldier position, I shake my head laughing at her. She's such a character

Megan & I have been best friends for over 10 years. We met in school and instantly became close. She reminds me so much of my big sister. She's a handful at times but she's a great person and I'm so glad to have her in my life.

My first few weeks working at Brown Inc. have been really good, and them paychecks ain't no joke. I just got home a few hours ago and Meg invited herself over and couldn't help but mention going to the 21 & over club. We know the guy who works security so I'm good to get in.

I don't mind going out every once in a while I'm just beat. My feet are killing me and I'm super tired. But I'd never let Megan or anyone I know go to the club alone.

I sigh looking around in my closet for something to wear. I haven't heard from Trevor all day and it's bothering me. We normally text all the time and he hasn't even looked at my good morning text.

Finding a nice outfit I smile heading to the shower. Once I'm all washed up I lotion up then get dressed. I don't really dress up daily but when I do, I do.

Checking the time I see it's been 35 minutes. I grab my phone, purse, & keys leaving out. I make sure to lock my door then head to the elevator. I get in and press the next floor up because that's where Megan lives.

When she moves I'm gonna miss being able to head upstairs and watch movies with her or do our nails, and all the other girlie things we did on our girls night in. We're still gonna do them just not every night.

I get to her house and knock waiting for an answer. Hearing the lock I move back a little and the door opens. I smile seeing Donte.

Despite there on & off relationship Donte's a really cool guy.

"Wassup sis, you look nice" he says pulling me into a hug

"Thanks brother" I say walking inside

"Ya friend in the bathroom running her damn mouth" he says

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! DON'T PLAY WITH ME DONTE I WILL BEAT YA ASS BEFORE I LEAVE THIS MUTHAFUCKIN HOUSE!" Megan yells from the backroom

He shakes his head waving her off.

"Where y'all headed?" He asks

"To Bloom right up the street" I tell him

"Ight cool make sure ya friend ain't out there being reckless" he says

"I got her"

"Yo say one more fucking thing about me I'ma buss ya ass D" Megan says walking out of the room

"Can you just go with ya friend?" He asks

"Ima do that. Cuz I don't want to stay here with ya annoying ass" she says

"I'm annoying?"

"Yes! Yes the fuck you are"

"You need me to wait outside?" I ask Meg
