Chapter Twenty Three-

Twenty minutes into the movie, Tony and Jaime was half way asleep, Mike was quoting the movie word for word, and Vic and I were watching the movie, glancing at each other almost every other minute when we thought the other wasn't looking. But of course, I caught Vic looking at me every time, and he caught me a couple times.

But instead of excusing us like I knew Vic wanted to, we just continued to watch the movie. Honestly, all I wanted to do was go lay down with Vic and just relax, but, for some reason, Vic seemed invested in staying in the living room, watching the movie with his friends and his brother. Right now, we were chuckling at Mike's quoting, Vic mindlessly playing with my fingers, as I sat in his lap. I shivered every time he ran his other hand down my arm.

That was until Jaime jumped up awake, scared everyone in the room, and making Tony, who had just walked into the room chuckle. "We never finished questioning Kellin!" Jaime said, making Mike pause the movie and everyone turn to look at me and Vic, who was still playing with my fingers, not really paying attention to what was going on around him, he seemed lost in his own world.

"Oh yeah!" Mike said, grinning as he looked over at me. I felt my cheeks heat up at all the attention that they were giving me. I pulled my hand away from Vic, grabbing his attention. He looked up from my hand and looked at the guys, who were starring at us. He raised an eyebrow at them.

Jaime grinned, "Awww... They're so cute together!" He gushed, making everyone laugh at him, including me and Vic. But that didn't last very long sadly. "Ok ok, so. Kellin. Why are you dating Vic? What do you think about getting married? Long distance relationships? What would you do if Vic got totally wasted and kissed some other person?" Jaime question me all at once. I felt my eyes widen, and I could feel Vic's grip on my hand tighten, ever so slightly.

I glanced at Tony and Mike, who were just starring at the scene before them. "Um.. Because, I really like him, I think that maybe getting married in the future would be nice, when I'm a lot older though. And.. I would be very upset and hurt by it, but I'd try and stand by his side and listen to his side of the story." I answered, not really sure what to say. What do you say to a big question like that?

Jaime grinned, nodding, obviously satisfied by my answer. Next he looked at Mike, who was grinning at me. After all he knew my biggest secret at the moment. He knew I was in love with his brother. "Do you promise to look after my brother no matter what?" He asked, raising his eyebrow. Quickly, without even thinking about it, I nodded.

"Of course I will." I said, glancing at Vic, who was starring at me in surprise. I smiled at him, squeezing his hand in a comforting manner. He smiled back at me, squeezing my hand back. I chuckled as Mike pulled me closer to him on his lap, his arms wrapping around my waist.

Mike, Jaime, and Tony all smiled at us, chuckling and shaking their heads, while Mike turned back on the movie. "This questioning is not over Kellin!" Mike told me, and as soon as he turned on the movie, his full attention was lost on it. I chuckled, looking at Vic behind me. He grinned, motioning his head out of the room. I grinned back at him, standing up and grabbing his hand.

"Going somewhere?" Jaime asked as Vic and I neared the exit of the living room. Vic rolled his eyes at his best friend, smirking.

"Yup, we'll be in my room! Don't worry though, I'll be down in and hour or two for practice!" He told them, tugging on my hand leading me out of the living room, where Jaime and Tony were snickering at us, and upstairs to his room. While we were walking upstairs, I took the time to look around Vic and Mike's house. In the prospect of family photos, they didn't have any out on display. In fact, the walls looked totally barren. I sighed, squeezing Vic's hand. He looked at me for a second, confused, but when he noticed I had been looking around, he shrugged. "Don't worry about it." He said quietly, leading me into his room.
