"I got you pregnant?!" I was sincerely shocked. I never saw my future to be married and expecting a child.
"Yeah, are you not happy? We got pregnant once but I had a miscarriage. So we wanted to try again and now I'm pregnant." She shared, sheepishly.
"It's not that I'm not happy. I'm just shocked, before I met you I never planned on getting married or even having kids. Now suddenly I have a pregnant wife, I-" I stopped when I saw her eyes were glossy.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't even realize. Violet I'm so sorry, It's just overwhelming for me." I felt bad, I didn't even stop to think how she would feel.
"No, It's fine. I understand it must be hard for you. I actually just found out that I'm pregnant when you were in surgery two months ago." She sniffled.
Fuck, that made it worse. She was probably alone when she found out, and when she finally told her husband, I just had to fuck it up. I was choked up.
"How far along are you?" I gulped. "Um, almost 3 months now." She looked down to her hand and fiddle with the fabric keeping me warm.
Great, I made it awkward now. I had to figure something to make up a new conversation, FAST!!
"So uh, have we ever talked about baby names?" I tried to make the situation better.
"No, actually. But I was thinking if they were a girl, we could name her Renae? After your mom." She looked unsure.
'I told her about my mom?!"
'Of course you did, she's your wife remember?'
'I actually don't remember, but I know now so thank you'
My conscience was battling with each other. "Of course! I love it!" I reply with a smile.
She smiled at me. Wow, I can totally understand why I fell for her.

It had been 2 weeks since I was released from the hospital. I still haven't gotten my memories yet and it's frustrating.
I feel exhausted, I got back to work today and it was a busy day.
