I noticed something that looked like a scar below his chin which could only be seen from my perspective.

I wonder where that came from

His eyes suddenly fluttered opened and found mine.

"Y/n..." He yawned and squinted his eyes "were you watching me while I was asleep?" He said chuckling

"Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't" I smiled

He looked me in the eyes and his smile faded a bit

"Y/n were you crying?"

"I-uh..." I wiped my eyes. Oh. I guess I was.

"Bad dream" I mean, I wasn't exactly lying.

"Okay..." He started rubbing my back "what was it about?"

"Oh its nothing just...something I remembered about my mom"

"Do you wanna talk about? I'll listen"

"I....I dont know I mean it wasn't really anything important"

"Then why were you crying?"

I was getting kinda annoyed. I didn't really want to tell him about it.

"I don't know satori I didn't even realize I was crying until you pointed it out."

That came out a lot ruder-sounding than I intended.

"I'm sorry" he said softly

"Don't apologize tori. I'm sorry, you were just trying to help."

"Y/n its okay you're just on edge and if you domt want to talk about it I won't push you"

I turned my head back forward into a more comfortable position.

"So how'd you sleep?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.

"I slept really nicely y/n you were a really great teddy bear."

I chuckled.

"Hey satori what time is it?"

"Oh its..."

He picked up his phone from the nightstand with his freehand.

"9:23"

"Do you wanna go get breakfast or coffee or something" I asked

"Yeah that sounds fun!"

We both got up and stretched and yawned.

"Well I'm gonna go back to my dorm so I can get dressed and stuff okay"

"Okay. We can meet at the front gates in like 10."

"Kay see you then!" He said as he walked out the door

I found a tennis skirt so I put on a school crewneck and some Mary Janes with it.
