"I was once just like you, scared, afraid of what I was." Natasha sat beside me. "But SHIELD helped me see I was still with saving."

"We aren't the same Natasha. I can do a lot of damage with a little power." She looked into my eyes.

"We've all got some red in our ledger, some of us just have to work longer to feel better about it."

She got up and silently left the office waiting room. Fury had set me up with Dr.Cho, the Avengers on hand doctor.

I saw her peek through the glass doors every so often, shuffling papers and getting ready to invite me in.

"Ada" she said softly "are you ready?"

"I don't think I have a choice here." She stayed silent as we walked into the room.

The room was smaller than I imagined it to be, I had imagined sleek white walls that never ended, and machines lining the entire room. Instead it was a pale blue, relatively small, and nothing you wouldn't see in a standard office, apart from what looked like a large pod sitting in the middle, it looked like it might not be done being built.

Dr.Cho stepped around the large object carefully, explaining that it was a new project of Mr. Starks. It was meant to heal injuries much faster than a human could heal naturally.

"This line of work takes a few hits sometimes... not that you should worry about that."

I wasn't worried, anytime I'd gotten injured since the onset of these powers, the wound had healed pretty quickly. And I hadn't experienced anything that could make me stay injured for more than 10 minutes yet.

"First I want to complete a blood draw. It will help us be able to test for powers you may not know about yet."

I really doubted I had anything more up my sleeve. In total I listed off 5 different powers I had discovered thus far; cell regeneration, telekinesis, object manipulation, shape shifting, and spacial manipulation.

"Ahh yes, sometimes people who have those power sets are also able to do other things as well. And narrowing down which powers you possess with be able to help us figure out how you got them." She prepped my arm with alcohol wipes and searched for a vein while speaking.

"If you find out what caused it... can you reverse it?" I looked away quickly as she grabbed the needle.

"I'm not sure, we've never tried."

As she retracted the needle back, I watched the site where she had stuck me. Almost as quick as the needle had come out, a green glow appeared, when it went away I was left with a perfectly healed arm.

Dr. Cho lifted my arm up to her face. "Curious, the avengers with cellular regeneration never have that green sort of glow happen."

"Yay me" I sarcastically responded, taking my arm back.

Suddenly, Stark burst into the room. "Done Cho? We've got a situation out here and the kid could really help us out about now."

Cho swiped her hands down her dress.
"Of course, just remember we don't have a full skill set and she doesn't have full control yet, so not push her."

Stark crashed into the room, narrowly running into the pod. He grabbed my outstretched arm and pulled me down the hallway.

"What's happening?" I asked

"Loki, he's back."

"I thought he was in some otherworldly jail?"

"Asgard, he was on Asgard but he got out somehow, and now he's standing in the middle of the tower."

Thor burst through a door on my left, followed by Natasha, Clint, and Steve. They looked ready to fight whatever Loki was bringing to them.

As the double doors flung open to the main room, I could see Loki, calmly standing in the middle of it.

"What are you doing here brother?" Thor boomed across the room.

"Is it too much to want to visit my big brother every once in a while?"

"It is when you're supposed to be in jail." Tony added.

"Ahh..." Loki messed with the tips of his fingers. "...we'll I didn't quite like it so I decided to come here."

Loki's head turned to face me. I was still being held tightly in Tony's grasp, slightly hidden by his back.

"Ahhh and who is this?" Loki gestured toward me. "A mere child, hiding behind Midgard's mightiest warriors? What could they want to protect?"

He stepped towards the group and Thor beckoned Mjolnir. "Brother, I advise against stepping closer."

"But I want to meet your new friend." Loki pouted as he looked towards me again.

"I sense power in you, who are you?" I felt the foreign thoughts trail through my mind. I freed myself from Tony's grasp and brought them up to my own head.

"I am no one, why are you here?"I sent the thought through his head. His face became clouded, he had received it and was wondering how I got in.

"No one? Strange, in all my years of life, I have never met a no one." He said out loud.

"I don't know what kinda mumbo jumbo magic you guys are doing right now but knock it off and tell me why you are here Loki." Stark interrupted.

Loki tipped himself fowards as if bowing but not quite.

"Well Midgardians, I am here to surrender."

"Surrender? The Loki I know would never." Natasha interjected.

Interjections by the other Avengers were cut off by my sudden scream. My mind became filled with the images of torture, pain, loss, and guilt.

Loki's voice rose about my scream. "Ask this one if I am lying." As his sentence concluded, the images started to fade. The smell of hot tea filled by nose, calming me as I regained control over my breath and mind.

"He- He's not lying." I managed through stuttered breaths. The Avengers looked at me with concern before turning back to Loki.

"Whatever you just did to her, you don't do again, or we're throwing you right back into an Asgarian jail cell." Stark finished.

Natasha and Bruce's hands came down to help me stand. My knees felt weak as I stood.

"Lady Romanoff, can you please escort Lady Ada out of the room." Thor mumbled to us.

Natasha waved her head slightly before supporting my weight by grabbing underneath my other arm as I walked. We stood in the hallway for a few moments before continuing back to my 'room'.

Natasha sat me down on the cool bed before sitting down on the edge. "What did he do to you in there?" She asked, fiddling with the sheets.

"He figured out he could communicate with me through our minds, we had a short conversation then he filled my head with terrible feelings and images and asked me to tell you all."

Natasha sunk down deeper into the corner of the bed. "Tony shouldn't have brought you in there, not until you know you can handle people like that."

"No, Tony was right to bring me, Loki was asking for help, he wants help, use it to your advantage. The Avengers could use him."

"Ada, you're one of us now, we're going to protect you okay?" She sighed as she walked out the room, leaving me alone to process the images left floating around in my mind.
