I watched as Tony walked calmly into the containment cell with Loki in it. I didn't know what was said now or when I had left the room with Natasha the previous night.

Bruce and Natasha walked up to where I was sitting. "What are you doing here?" Bruce began to question.

"Just watching. He's not lying, I want to know what happened."

I did want to know what had happened, most of the images he sent to me had faded but three in particular still remained. A small blue frost giant, a tall purple man, and an image of himself tied to some sort of god killing device. Many people had tried to figure out why Loki attacked New York after the battle. The consensus was that he was just a power hungry Asgardian, although with the memories he gave me, I assumed there must be more.

Tony began to walk out of the room. He looked shocked yet also happy.

"Loki says he was forced to attack by someone named Thanos and the Chitauri." The memories started to make sense.

"Ada-" he turned toward me. "- I was wondering if you might speak with him. He said he gave you the full reason for the attack last night."

"Okay, what do I need to focus on?"

"Just get him talking. You have control over your telepathy, correct? Make sure to get in his head." He tapped his forehead as he went back to the keypad to unlock the door.

"We'll be watching from the cameras, if anything goes south, we'll be there before you could've asked."

I quickly walked inside the room as the door slammed closed behind me. I sat down at the seat across from Loki. He didn't look powerful right now, he looked small. Not small as in appearance, but small as in defeated.

"So... you wanted to speak to me?"

"We'll I assumed the girl who had been in my head would have invited herself in here." He gestured around the room with a small smirk.

"Why did you give me all of that?" I crossed my arms.

"Because, we are more alike than you think. I can't give any mortal being visions like that."

I wasn't sure how to respond, his emphasis on the word 'mortal' made it seem as though he felt I wasn't mortal, at least not anymore.

"We are not and will not be the same."

"As I said-" he tapped the table in front of us "-you are more like me then you know."

"And how would that be?" I retorted

"I let you into my mind like that, you may now have control over what you see but you're defenses are weak. I've seen your entire life Ada."

I froze on the spot, begging him not to continue speaking. If he truly saw into my entire life, he'd have known what I did, and how I just ran away from it.

"Enough. This isn't about me." Loki glared into my eyes.

"But isn't it?"

"Oh well, I guess that's a topic for another day young Avenger." He leaned back in his chair, amused.

I tried to enter his mind once more, to see what secrets he could be hiding. I couldn't seem to get through.

"Ada, Ada, Ada, all you need do is ask and I will show you it all. But I do not welcome trespassers."

I sighed, I couldn't believe I was asking a god for permission.

"Please let me in."

"As you wish." The block in my mind crumbled as I was able to freely go from one memory to the next, almost led by his thoughts.

He showed me his childhood, always being secondary to Thor, his fathers disapproval. He showed me finding out he was not an Odinson and instead a Laufeyson. I watched his arrest on Earth, and all moments before it. As I neared the moments leading up to his escape, I was again blocked out.

"I will not show you everything, not yet little bird."

Little bird? It seemed strange to be addressed by such an adoring term by someone like himself.

Loki chucked "...someone like myself? Or someone just like you?"

Tony's voice rang over the intercom. "Okay pack it up, that's enough for now."

Loki turned to me and looked me over. "Pity, I was just getting started."

Tony unlocked the door as he spoke. "If you won't show her more today, there is no reason for her to remain in here."

As I was led away I felt Loki enter my mind again. "Until tomorrow, little bird."

Tony spoke as we walked the hall. "What did he show you?"

"His entire life -almost his entire life."

"I've never known Loki to be like this, keep up the act, we need to know everything."

We entered the room I had met them all in earlier that week. In just a few short days I was gaining small bits of trust from them, becoming one of them.

Thor stood as I entered "Lady Ada, Stark, how did it go?"

"We'll I believe, he was very open to me, I saw almost everything."

"Almost everything?" Thor repeated

"Almost-" I chucked at the faint memory. "Including Mr.Snake over there scarring you as a child."

"Oh wow, I'm gonna need to hear that one kid." Stark interjected.

"But first, you need to rest before meeting with Dr.Cho."

I walked back to my room, for the first time I was alone. The tower seemed larger than the few times I had walked through it. Now knowing the turns, elevators, and stairs I would need to take I was able to make it to my room.

The space still made me uncomfortable, it was a cell no matter how grand it began to look. I was gaining trust, but slowly, they still wanted to make sure I was safe to be around.

I laid down on the hard, cool mattress. Letting my mind drift into dreams of memories that weren't mine.
