"Where is he?" She asked cautiously, starring down at the empty bed.

"He must be in the bathroom, but.. he shouldn't be able to walk without assistance?" the nurse rushed across the room stressfully, examining the IV and medicine bags that'd been carefully removed from his patient. They weren't supposed to remove these when going to the bathroom, and why didn't the alarm go off?

MJ walked to the room's bathroom and knocked.

There was no reply.

She opened it slowly, ready to slam it on any protest. Maybe he passed out in there? That'd be embarrassing.

Finally getting it open all the way, it was clear to see that nobody had even used this restroom since it was last cleaned. Not even the soap was out of its wrapper, which it probably should've been for a place filled with weak people and such, right?

MJ peeked her head out the door, trying to find any clues. Where the hell was Peter? Was he alright? Why the hell couldn't he wait one damn night for her?

"Well he's not in the restroom" she said deadpanned, glaring at what she'd currently noticed to be an opened window.

"He has to be in here somewhere, we're on the fourth floor and we've had security to make sure no associates to May would arrive to see him!" The man cried, genuinely worried about where the teen was, and if he was alright.

MJ stepped over to the window, leaning against the frame and letting out an aggravated sigh.

"He's a literal spider monkey, he could crawl out of here no problem" MJ slammed the frame angrily "I hate it when he does this!" She shouted, feeling another wave of useless tears threatening to seep through again.

The nurse jumped, and was honestly a bit shocked to discover that the kid that looked an inch from death, had a track record on being a window-escape artist. If that wasn't terrifying enough, it was a kid. Not even old enough to drive yet!

MJ stormed out of the room, the nurse following along.

"What's your name?" MJ questioned, attempting to distract herself from the ever-growing bloodlust for May.

"Uh.. Ned?" Ned replied, unaware that someone was still with her.

"Not you dumbass, I'm talking to the nurse" she whispered into the mic.

"Oh, sorry" he whispered back.

"Edward Walt" the nurse answered her question, taking note that she was clearly on the phone and looked ever so pissed.

"Edward, you know what Peter looks like, yeah?" She asked, stopping her speed walk and facing him.

He nearly ran into her, bumping into someone rushing by and wincing an apology.

"Yeah, I've got his photo too" Edward nodded, Confused as to where this was going.

"Call me if you find him, or anything about where he could be. That's all you ever use this number for, I don't care if you won the lottery and are feeling generous to a stranger, I only want to hear news about Peter, got it?" She asked, scribbling out a note and handing it to him.

Edward nodded again. MJ was gone just like that. Dude, he didn't even know if he'd actually call her if he found the kid. Said kid needed a hospital. They weren't even able to change his clothes yet until his residues had dried enough so that they wouldn't open the wounds up again! At this rate, even with him somehow surviving the hell he'd gone through, that kid wouldn't make it another bleed that bad.

Peter was bleeding pretty bad.

Hey, I know whatever mysterious being has the chance to view his miserable life is thinking! He'd be fine! This is a happy ending story!
