this is a completely random ramble of mine, but i get bothered seeing twilight mistyped as an intj.

it's understandable that she's typed that way on a very surface level and especially in regards to how she was in the first season or 2. she acted a bit cold, but it's important to not resort to stereotypes when typing someone.

twilight is an infj (not just projecting as a twilight kin – the fact that i kin her is based on the fact that she's an infj). she is definitely an ni-dom, relying on finding underlying meanings and relying on her intuition.

the thing about twilight that gets her mistyped as an intj is the fact that she was stuck in an ni-ti loop for a long time. this means that she didn't use her auxiliary fe function.

since twilight is an introvert, and being in an ni-ti loop, she was stuck in her head for a long time. she didn't have many friends.

however, over the course of mlp, you can see how much she grows. she gets out of the ni-ti loops and thrives when she uses her fe (although it is the root of some problems/stress). she seeks external harmony and often thinks in terms of other people's values.

i enjoy seeing character development, and twilight's specifically, as i can relate to the ni-ti loop myself (still questioning if i'm in one myself).
