"You nervous?" I looked over to Grayson who was driving.
"Yeah. A little." He grabbed one of my hands and started playing with my fingers.
"Don't be, my mom's gonna love you. Si always talks about you to her," I shrugged.
We pulled up into the restaurant's parking lot and parked. Grayson nor do I get out of the car, he was looking at my fingers still playing with them. "Grayson look at me," I brought my hand out to lift up his head for his icy blue eyes to meet my hazel one, "you're going to be fine. There's nothing to stress about."
"There is. What if she doesn't like me. Then she wouldn't want me hanging around you anymore and I really like being around you." He ranted while I really wanted to slap him across the face for even thinking my mom wouldn't like him.
Like look at him. Who can't like him?
So I did the reasonable thing and flicked his forehead. He winced a little and then went to flick my forehead but even harder.
"Hey! I didn't even do it that hard, stop that" Grayson started smirking half way through my sentence. Him and his dirty mind. Internal eye roll.
"Okay come on, we wouldn't want my mom waiting for us long." He opened the door for me and held out a hand to help me get down from the car.
