Nala had started cleaning the lose fur, mud, and dirt off kion

Nala: I have never seen a cub so dirty

Kion: when you never clean the dirt and stuff off it builds up

Nala frowned

Nala: kion, where are your parents

When nala asked this kion tensed, this didn't go unnoticed by nala

Nala: what happened

Kion: I don't want to talk about it

Nala nodded her head in understanding

Nala: let's get you clean

Nala then continued bathing kion. After awhile nala had gotten around half of the dirt, lose fur, and mud off of kion, when she noticed bits of red appearing in the mix

Nala: hmm, kion what is the red stuff mixed in with the dirt, and mud

Kion once again tensed at the question

Kion: dried blood

Nala: why would their be dry blood

Kion: once the dirt and stuff is gone you will know why

Nala frowned at the answer but didn't push any further.

Time skip

Nala had finally gotten all the dirt, mud, and lose fur off of kion, but what she saw left her speechless

Kion was covered in scars and cuts, he was so skinny that you could see some of his ribs

Nala: kion, where did you get these

Kion: the outlands is not the friendlies of environments

Nala: why are some of the cuts still bleeding

Kion: the cuts that are still bleeding are from the last time I had to fight Janja and his clan, so... Yesterday

Nala: I am taking you to rafiki, then we are going to get you to eat

Kiara: I am going too

Nala then picked kion up and started towards Rafiki's tree
