Chapter 4

Kurapika and Akemi enter the hospital and walk towards the elevators.

"Should we take the stairs?" Kurapika asks with a smile.
"I think we will be fine here." Akemi answers, smiling back.

They go up to the progressive care unit to meet her father. A doctor approaches Akemi before they make it into her father's room.

"Miss Akemi. I have an update on your father's condition. I will be right in." says the doctor to Akemi.
"Right, thank you!" she replies.

Akemi gently knocks on the door before entering.
"Daddy, are you awake? I brought someone." whispers Akemi.
"Why, yes come on in!" her father answers.
Akemi takes Kurapika's hand and they walk closer to her father.
"This is Kurapika." she says.
"Kurapika, huh? The pro hunter?" her father asks.
"Yes, sir." Kurapika answers.
"I was so delighted when I heard my daughter was seeing a pro hunter. Such a noble profession!" said her father to Kurapika.
"Yes, sir. It really is." says Kurapika.
"Oh, you can just call me Hayate." he says to Kurapika.

Kurapika and Hayate both exchange stories about the hunter exam and working as a hunter. Suddenly, they all hear a knock on the door.

"Oh, my favorite doctor!" exclaims Hayate.
The doctor laughs.
"I saw your beautiful daughter come in and I wanted to give her an update." says the doctor.
"I see you brought a friend with you today." the doctor says to Akemi.
"Yes, this is Kurapika." says Akemi.
The doctor notices Akemi holding Kurapika's hand. He gives Akemi a look of disapproval then quickly smiles when he notices Kurapika looking his way.
"Nice to meet you, Kurapika. I'm Dr. Ikeda." he introduces himself to Kurapika.

Kurapika senses a sudden change in aura. Dr. Ikeda continues to tell Akemi about how her father is improving and they are looking to transfer him to a medical floor soon. Kurapika listens carefully, since he is becoming suspicious of this doctor.

Kurapika and Akemi both leave the hospital. It is now dark and they both stop in a small restaurant for dinner.
"I can tell my father really likes you." she says.
"Yes, I'm glad. Sounds like he was a great hunter." says Kurapika.
Akemi smiles.
"This doctor. You said he has been your father's cardiologist this entire time?" asks Kurapika.
"Yes, he is the best!" answers Akemi, smiling.
"I see," Kurapika says, looking down.

Kurapika decides to ignore his suspicions about Dr. Ikeda for now and focus on Akemi. They have had such a great day spending time with friends and family. He did not want to ruin their evening.

They both stand in front of Kurapika's hotel room.

"Today was probably the best day of my life." Akemi says to Kurapika.
"I agree," says Kurapika.
"I don't want it to end yet!" she says.
"It doesn't need to end quite yet. You can come in and join me if you'd like." says Kurapika.
"Yes, I'd like that." Akemi responds.

Kurapika tries to unlock the door as fast as he can. Once inside, Akemi throws herself on Kurapika and starts to kiss him. His cell phone rings, but she throws it on the floor. Akemi pushes Kurapika on the bed and she could feel his defined abdominal muscles. She wanted to get a view of them so she unbuttoned his suit. He helped her by pulling his shirt off.
Akemi just stared at Kurapika.

"Damn, I am so lucky." Akemi said to herself.

Akemi straddles Kurapika and begins to caress his bare chest with both of her hands. She starts from his neck and slowly down his chest to his lower abdomen. Akemi goes back down to kiss him. She brushes his bangs away from his face. She kisses his neck. Kurapika can feel the bulge in his pants. He starts to unzip her dress and she takes it off along with her bra and panties. She sits back up to continue her way down Kurapika. She loosens his belt and pulls everything off, exposing his manhood. Kurapika sits up, grabs Akemi and throws her back on the bed so that he is on top of her. He kisses Akemi. Kurapika is breathing fast. He kisses her neck.

"May I offer you something else, Akemi?" Kurapika whispers in her ear.
"Yes, please." She begs and continues to kiss Kurapika.

Kurapika slowly enters her moist center. Akemi lets out a soft moan. Kurapika begins to thrust in and out of her. Her entire body is tingling and she begs Kurapika not to stop. She spreads her legs further to allow him to penetrate her deep. She reaches up and grabs his hair, pulling him closer to her. They are both breathing heavy, faces flushed. Akemi doesn't want this moment to end. She tried to make it last as long as she could. Akemi looked right into Kurapika's eyes as he thrusted into her. Suddenly, she felt an overpowering sensation throughout her body. She moaned loudly as she climaxed and collapsed on the bed. Kurapika felt the same overpowering sensation as he climaxed slowly after Akemi. Akemi's legs are trembling. She feels overjoyed and thinks she might be falling in love with Kurapika. Kurapika is elated. The pain he felt before meeting Akemi suddenly disappears for the moment.

At four in the morning, Kurapika senses another presence in the room. He opens his eyes and notices Hisoka standing next to his bed. Kurapika quickly covers himself with the comforter.

"Hisoka! What the hell are you doing here?" asks Kurapika.
"Why no need to cover up for my sake." says Hisoka, smiling.
"What do you want?" demands Kurapika.
"Don't get angry. After all, I did try to call first. I just want you to know that the corpses were fake." explains Hisoka.
"What?" asks Kurapika angrily.
"The spiders who you thought were dead. They are not." Hisoka says while walking away.

Kurapika sits in bed, shocked. He stares into the darkness.
"Of course! A conjurer could have pulled that off easily! Dammit! Why didn't I realize this sooner?" Kurapika asks himself.
He searches the dark room for his cell phone. There were several missed calls.
"Dammit! I must tell the others! For sure they are all sleeping. I still need to try." Kurapika continues to talk to himself. He called Leorio, but it went to voicemail. He attempted Gon next.
"Kurapika? What time is it? Are you okay?" Gon answers, sleepily.
"Hello, Gon? The spiders. They are not dead! Please meet me here as soon as you can." Kurapika says to Gon on the phone.
Kurapika collapses on the floor after hanging up.
Akemi wakes up and notices Kurapika on the floor.
"Kurapika! Are you okay?" she asks while trying to wake him.
