I watch the tall boy hammer away on a wooden wall as I sit on a branch in a tall tree. His muscles flexing every time he takes a swing.
He seems to have quite an anger issue bestowed upon his not so smart mind. You can tell his wits weren't part of how he survived this far.
He also seems to have taken quite a disliking towards Thomas which makes me quite sad. Thomas seems like such a nice boy.
I giggle as he accidentally hammers his finger before sucking on it furiously.
Apparently he hears me giggle and he spins in my direction with wide eyes.
He gulps, "You're real?" He questions.
I nod and beacon him to come to me. He does.
As soon as he is standing at the base of the tree I jump down next to him before turning in his direction.
"Hiya" I chirp as his eyes stay glued to mine.
"Hi" A smile appears on his face. "I thought Thomas was..."
"Mind-controlling people" I supply and he guiltily nods his head. "I heard" I giggle as his face blushes scarlet. "You shouldn't judge Thomas before you know him" I tell him sternly.
He frowns, "You know him? How?"
Now it's my turn to blush. "I watch everyone in the Glade" I look to the ground smirking. "They are so interesting. Especially when they hurt themselves by being clumsy"
He grins widely and chuckles before Newt, Minho, Chuck and Thomas run up to us looking panicked.
"Hello boys" I smile at them and they suddenly look confused.
"What's up?" Newt awkwardly asks, scratching the back of his neck.
Why do guys do that? Is it a guy thing? Is it... a gay thing?
"The sky?" I ask innocently. "Wait is this a trick question?"
I hear Chuck snicker as the guys hold back laughs.
Which is half failing.
They look like gold fishes.
Are you ok? Thomas asks me in my mind. I don't even glance at him.
Just peachy.
Thomas' POV
I walk with Adelaide in the deadheads, ignoring the fact that it is almost impossible to see. Thoughts run through my mind. Thoughts of how boring life would have been without Adelaide. She is always so cheerful. I envy her on that. I'm snapped out of my thoughts from fingers clicking in my face.
"You there Tommy?" Adelaide questions. I purse my lips and nod slowly.
My eyes scan her face, taking in her beauty. I haven't had much time to read ever detail on her lately.
Her golden hair shimmers in the tiniest hint of light making it look as though it's glowing, her eyes captivating you with only a blink, her skin as flawless as a diamond.
She smiles at me. "Are you ok Tommy?"
I gulp and before I know it, I spit the words out. "You just so beautiful"
By the way her eyes widen immensely suggests that maybe she thinks I'm a creep. Dammit Thomas. You are truly an idiot.
I feel something warm and a jolt of electricity shoot through my cheek and as I snap out of my trance I notice Adelaide has laid her soft plump lips lightly on my skin.
She pulls back and I notice how red her face is. Hell, I bet my face is ten times that shade.
"You ain't to bad yourself Tommy" she giggles cutely.
I smile widely before noticing the small amount of space between us. She seems to notice to but she isn't pulling away, in fact I'm pretty sure she is getting closer.
So I do the same.
