The things I miss about my childhood

As a child, I was so carefree
But now as an adult, I'm not.
I bother too much about the future,
The things it would bring,
What could happen.

I remember as a child,
I loved making caked
With sand.
I loved making soup,
With leaves and flowers.
I loved chasing after butterflies,
Like it was my life-long dream.
I loved playing with the bottle of white powder,
Until it spilled on me.
I loved being free,
Like a bird.

But there was one thing I thought.
I thought,
Being an adult would be easier,
than being a child.
I used to pray day and night
to become an adult.
But now,
I wouldn't exactly say I regret all what I said.
But there is nothing fun about being an adult.
Adulthood comes with a lot of responsibility
Which I recently found out
I couldn't handle.
Only if I was given a day to have fun
like my childhood days.
