Trust is important,
when broken,
sorry doesn't count.
It is like a piece of paper,
when crumpled,
It becomes useless.
It is like a piece of glass,
when broken,
it can't get easily fixed.
Now, I'm too scared to trust again.

You betrayed what I once held sacred,
you impaired what I thought was perfect.
To betray is to break me,
a promise trapped in sardonicism,
all because I loved you blindly.
