Running around the garden filled with emotions,
I couldn't help but wonder why,
He loved me so much,
But I never even paid attention.
He cared about me so much,
But I still didn't pay attention.
He cherished me so much,
But I wondered if I loved him too.
I didn't love him as much as he loved me.
I never cherished my moments with him,
The love he had for me,
Was higher than Mount Everest,
And I was as cunning as a fox,
When showing him love.
He promised me heaven on earth,
I devoured the love hungrily,
Like a beast.
He never asked for anything,
Apart from my love,
But I shielded it away from him,
I made sure I always made him angry,
So as to get away from him,
but it seemed like he only loved me more,
Even with my terrible actions.
He believed I was going to change,
And I know I was nothing like how I acted to him,
I was cool, calm and collected,
But whenever I was with him,
I was cold, cantankerous and confusing.
If only I was satisfied with his love,
I wouldn't have been pushed to break him.
If only i didn't cheat on him,
With the one he trusted most,
He wouldn't have become the beast he is now.
I was never satisfied,
His love never satisfied me,
His care wasn't enough for me,
His tolerance was out of the world,
But I ruined everything.
He hated me with all he had,
And I loved him with all I had.
