To liberate our lost pride

Our country,
Our pride,
Our pleasure,
Our joy.

Do you remember the day
When blood overshadowed our city?
When language was also controlled by enmity.
But did we walk away?
You would never find those answers in a negative way.

We fought as a brave soldiers,
Sometimes as a quick learner,
And sometimes as a wounded individual.

Only to liberate our lost pride,
Only to free our lost mother,
Our lost symbol.

We didn't hesitate once to die
For our lovely motherland.
For a shelter, we lived beneath
And for a culture we cherish.

Only to liberate our lost pride,
Only to re-find our lost joy,
Our lost nation,
Our country.
