The school's hallway was filled with students that were either greeting their friends or trying to find and open their lockers.

I was currently opening my locker, hoping to not run into the person that I hate the most. Liam King.

"Hey Olivia!" I heard a voice say, causing me to turn my head.

Beside me stood Avery Torres, my best friend since we where five years old. Her blonde with pink highlights curly hair, and dark brown eyes gave her bronze colored skin a beautiful glow.

"Hey Avery. Love the pink highlights." I grinned at her as I took out my history notebook. She had added pink highlights to her hair yesterday when she went to the mall.

"Thanks! So my mom made me way too many empanadas, and I know how much you like them, so I'm sharing them with you."

I couldn't believe it. Her mom is Mexican and she makes the most delicious empanadas ever, but Avery never shared with anyone, not even with me.

"You're going to share your empanadas with me? That's a first." I closed my locker adjusting my backpack, and Avery rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah I know. But I'm only offering you this once, so take it or leave it."

"I'll take it." I nodded eagerly as we made our way down the hall to first period.

But as we rounded the corner I bumped into the wall.

Wait no.

Definitely not a wall.

It was a person.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" I exclaimed regaining my balance. Then I looked up at the figure that stood before me, and I internally groaned.

"Liam." I narrowed my eyes at him.

Strands of his jet black hair fell onto his forehead as he looked down at me, his green eyes laced with amusement.

"Olivia. I see you still don't know how to walk anywhere without bumping into someone."

Sarcasm.

I scoffed at his words. "I see that you're still the same asshole as always, who can't even bother saying sorry."

He raised an eyebrow, turning to look at the boy who stood beside him, with blonde hair that was in a bun but normally reached his shoulder blades.

Sebastian Walker.

"Don't even think about including me into your daily fights." He said putting two arms up and taking a step back.

"So your minion isn't going to help you?" I looked at Sebastian and then back at Liam.

"He's not my minion, Sebastian is my friend, do you even know what that is?" Liam smirked, but it soon vanished when Avery cleared her throat.

"Oh you want to go there? Am I invisible or what?" Avery took a menacing step closer to Liam and Sebastian.

"Look, I don't have a problem with you Avery. I simply wish your friend would disappear and never come back." Liam reasoned with a shrug.

"Oh believe me, the feeling is mutual." I muttered.

Suddenly the bell rang, signaling that we had to make our way to our class.

"As much as I would love to keep arguing with you, like we do everyday, Avery and I need to go to class." I grabbed my best friends elbow and pulled her with me as I went around Liam and Sebastian.

With that the conversation ended, and when we rounded the corner, I let out an exasperated breath.

"Don't you think that both of you should stop fighting?" Avery said as we entered our history class.

"Stop fighting?" I looked at her with wide eyes. "Yeah, never going to happen."

"Oh come on! We are leaving for France in a few days, both of you are going to destroy each other." Avery sat down and I did the same.

"I mean, destroying is such a strong word... more like causing the other person to simply cease to exist..." I snickered, as I leaned back in my chair.

"You scare me sometimes Olivia."

I just laughed, and patted her shoulder. "You scare me even more. Everyday."

She rolled her eyes.

"Monday is officially the worst day ever." I said as I glanced over to the door, and Avery followed my gaze.

"Can I seriously leave this class." She whispered, with a disgusted scowl.

In the doorway stood Scarlett McGuire, the schools 'it girl'. She wore a even shorter skirt than usual, which I didn't know was possible, and her black hair was up in a ponytail.

I rolled my eyes and looked away from the door.

If I would name someone that I hated more than Liam, it would definitely be Scarlett.

But before I could even start comparing Liam and Scarlett, I felt a person looming over my desk.

"I saw you talking to Liam earlier." Scarletts voice spoke above me, and I looked up, meeting her icy blue eyes.

I tilted my head to the side. "You care because?"

"Because he's mine. So back the fuck off." She narrowed her eyes as she pointed a perfect manicured nail at me.

"First of all, he's not yours, second of all, I can't even tolerate being near him."

"Good. But just so you know, he is mine." She said and turned around to walk to her desk that was a few rows behind ours.

"Just because he fucked you once, doesn't mean you're in a relationship." I whispered under my breath.

Scarlett turned to me, with a glare. "What did you just say?"

Before I could repeat what I had said, Professor Crane stepped into the classroom, Scarlett shot me another glare before walking over to her desk.

"Watching you argue with Scarlett and Liam, is like watching a live soap opera." Avery grinned satisfied.

"When do you even have time to watch soap operas at home?" I whispered as I opened my book to the side where we had left off last class.

"Whenever I have a spare moment." She shrugged and I shook my head in bewilderment.

Professor Crane spoke up, causing all of us to stop talking. "Alright class, today we are going to continue reading page three hundred forty five. After you finish reading this chapter, about World War ll, I want you all to write a two page essay about it."

"I swear I can't stand the topic of World War ll anymore." I whispered to Avery.

"Yeah, I mean we get what happened back then, but we don't have to study the topic every year." Avery said as she opened the blue history book, and I nodded in agreement.

As I stared down at the words written on the page in front of me, I couldn't help but think about Liam King, and let me tell you that they where no good thoughts.
