"you should have stayed with us" Monika is standing in the doorway with a gun pointed directly at me head "calm down, put. the gun. down." This would have been so much easier if you just remembered me, and loved me like I love you" i zone out everything else she's saying while i'm trying to analyse the situation, Ok this woman is one of the most dangerous people in the world, and she's a friend, disarming her is absurd, but. maybe i can defuse the situation or at least find some way to alert the others. "Ok Monika, we're friends rig-" i get cut off by the pistol striking my head "SHUT UP- JUST SHUT UP" "ok, ok just calm down" i take a step but she instantly shoots the ground next to me, clearly she is unstable, but still able to kill me in a moment "get on your knees and face the door" i obey and she steps behind presumably 3 or 4 feet "now we wait"

TIMESKIP

I hear the door handle turn and as it opens Emma is standing there and i see her beautiful smile turn into pure terror "Emma you're going to be ok, I won't let h-" i see the gun above me pointing at Emma "whoa, whoa point it at me, she has no involvement in this" Once again she hits me with a gun "SHE'S THE REASON I HAVE TO DO THIS TO MY BABY" my only option is to put myself in danger "You're fucking crazy, what the actual fuck is wrong with you" "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP" Emma looks at me and nods, I shake my head repeatedly knowing exactly what she was saying. Emma tries running at Monika but she instantly shoots her in the gut "HAHAHAHA" "NOOOOO!" i get up and try grabbing the gun, but she wouldn't let up, my skill was faulted, all I could think about was Emma. just on time Oliver bursts through the door and tackles Monika and quickly knocks her out "what the fuck happened" i rush over to Emma and put pressure on the wound, "you want her forgiveness?, you won't have the chance if you don't get doc, right fucking now" he runs out the door and I can hear him screaming for Gustave "no no no no no, C'mon Emmanuelle stay with me, please just stay awake" she weakly raises her arm and puts her hand on my cheek "I love you Y/N, and i always will" "shh shh it's ok, i know, save your strength" doc rushes in with a stretcher, then him and olliver put her on it and rush to the medical bay I stand up and look at my hands, covered in my lover's blood and grab Monika's unconscious body, I grab cuffs and six show's up at the door "what on earth is going on" i walk past him, with Monika and dump her in the cafeteria. I get concerned looks until jack (pulse) pulls a gun on me "what do you think you're doing" i walk off and say "tell Grace to check cams, then deal with her" i run as fast as I can to the med bay. Tina is standing there next to Oliver watching as a woman in a uniform similar to lion, and another with stripes on her chin. "Tina i'm so sorry" she instantly turns around, buries her head into me and starts bawling, we both do "Whatever happened, you did everything you could" the muffled and broken voice of Tina says "I cannot lose her, two fucking days and I've already fucked everything up" she let's go and looks at me "like I said, you did nothing wrong, you may have saved her life. I'm sorry I can't do this" she walks away wiping tears from her face "Monika's in the cafeteria" I turn to oliver "Thank you, you saved mine and hopefully Emma's life" i shake his hand "I told you, I'm trying to be a different person. i'm gonna go give Monika a visit and see what this was all about" i nod

LION POV

i stormed into the cafeteria with the entire team standing by, with a now conscious Monika "is my baby ok-" "shut up and tell me why" she chuckles "fiiine, a long time ago, me and Y/N met in a bar, and i instantly knew it was true love, but apparently he doesn't remember, and i was never going to let that French whore be with my baby" i grab her and cuff her to a table "Julien, make sure she doesn't move" he nods and i walk to the bathroom to clean the blood from my hands. After everything I've done to her, I might never get the chance to apologize, no fuck what I'm feeling, Tina has been Emma's friend for years, and Y/N's her boyfriend, I'm just the asshole that hit her.

Y/N POV, The Waiting Room 6pm

"you've been here for 9 hours.... so um, Emms said you had a nice voice, care to sing a note" I look up and Tina sits next to me "Sure. Death doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints, it takes, and it takes, and it takes and we keep living anyway, we rise and we fall, and we break and we make our mistakes, and if there's a reason I'm still alive, when everyone who loves me has died, I'm willing to wait for it, I'm willing to wait for it" she rests her head on my shoulder "maybe something a bit happier" "sorry I can't think of anything happy right now. The woman I love is dying, and someone I considered a friend pointed a gun at my head and shot her. there isn't an ounce of happiness in me, so please do forgive me, if I'm not the most positive person in the world" I turn to her and see a face of shock and sadness "shit i'm sorry, we're both go-" i was cut off by her standing up and storming away "Y/N She's awake" i stand and rush into her room "hey love" i walk over and put my hand on her cheek "I'm so fucking sorry, I should've acted before you got back, but i was terrified that if she killed me, there'd be nothing to stop her from doing the same to you i-" she cuts me off with a kiss "it's ok, we should've known she was a psycho. What was it about anyway" i shrug "i don't know, apparently she loves me, and we've met before, I hate that you got mixed up in al- ah shit, shit. DOC, DOC" she sits up, but i gently set her back down "Y/N! what the hell is happening GUSTAVE!" doc rushes in as i collapse "ah shit, the serum should've lasted longer, what you're feeling now is the pain you've built up over today and yesterday, probably after the stress and the fight with Monika, the serum was used up, in your body-" "Mate cut the medical shit, and a little bit of help wouldn't hurt" he grabs me and sets me on the bed next to Emma "it's going to be ok. WE are going to be ok mon amor" Doc rushes back in and I pass out from the extreme pain...

"Mr L/-... Mr L/N ah welcome back, I've patched up your leg and Emma's been worrying the entire time" i nod, "thanks, how're you Emm?" i smile at her, getting a nervous or fearful look "the umm the bullet it.... it clipped my spine... if it was an inch to the left, I would've been paralyzed for life, but luckily I'll only need a wheelchair for a week or two" tears start streaming down her face, and i extend my hand near her bed, returning the favour she takes my hand "looks like we're gonna be staying in for a while ,mein liebe." she smiles for the first time, since she walked through the door that brought her here "God you're beautiful. night love" "g'night" And just like that, this nightmare of a day is over
