(Annabella Pov)

"A...A..A-Alberto..?" I mumbled his name...

"Annabella!! Get away! It's a sea monster!" I hear Giulia yell behind me, I did nothing but stood. As I froze at the sight of who I believed who was the person I spent my week was, my friend, my teammate, my crush...

"Help!! Don't hurt us! Don't hurt her!!" Giulia yells the creature to get away from me

"See? I knew this would--"

"Sea Monster!" Luca yells, snapping out of my thoughts. I turn over to Luca as he was pointing over to the creature holding my arm

The creature gasps as he lets go of my arm,

"W-what? Wait, but this is--"

"Did you hear that? This way!!" I hear Ercole run over to us, I felt a pair of arms grab behind me as it pulls me away from him

"...Luca?" The creature whimpered over to Luca, I turn to Luca and then to the creature

"W-wait! This is Alberto! L-let me go!" I yell to Giulia but she didn't listen but grabbed a near wooden stick beside her, pointing to him

"Stay back!" She yells him to go away, as he looks over to me with his eyes filled with sadness

"Annabella..."

"Alberto..."

"Sea Monster! There it is!!" Ercole runs over to us as his buddies run along side him.

Alberto turns to us his face filled with sadness as he turns away from us and goes to the sea

"Ragazzi! Now!" Ercole yells throwing harpoons at Alberto

"No!!" Me and Luca yell at the same time, as they threw the harpoons, it missed him thankfully. Alberto turns around to look at us once last time before disappearing onto the sea

"Ah, idioti! You let it get away!!" Ercole yells to us, I turn my head around as I shove away Giulia grip onto my arm

"What is wrong with you!? You could've almost killed him!!" I yell to him

"What's the matter with you?? That was a sea monster! They hunt humans like us in the seas!"

"No they don't! They're only afraid of people who hunt and kill them, people cruel and heartless like you!" I shove him off the rock he was on making him fall off onto his butt

Everyone gasps at what I just did. As I hear him growl in anger, he stood up, glaring down at me. Feeling no fear of the tall boy infront of me. I stay in my place, as if all my fear was gone and all I was ever afraid of has vanished.

"You...you little freak!" He yells down to me, grabbing onto my collar as he glares down to me

"People like you who let these monsters roam around the world are the kind we're all in danger!" He yells angrily down at me as I felt my teeth grit in anger

"Here! Why don't you join him??" He carries me and shoves me down onto the sea. Making a splash against the water as my body hits the bottom sand

"Annabella!" Giulia and Luca runs over to me as Giulia helps me up as I glare up at Ercole.

"Stay out of my way you little freak! Hurry, to the boat!" Ercole yells as he turns around and runs off to the boat coast

"Annabella? Are you okay?" Giulia asks me, I look back to were Alberto disappeared. Over the ocean, I see a small island over not too far from here. He did say he and Luca road a bike at a island. My guess is that's were he stayed...
