Tensura x Danmachi : The search for Veldanava

Chapter 1 : Arrival

3rd POV

One of the alleys in Ororio, the city where people and god live, suddenly flashes bright light and a person with a mask and black clothes appear.

Rimuru POV 

Now I'm in an alley where there is nobody. So I walk towards the main street. I can see many people with weapons and armour, and I can feel that some have a divine aura leaking out for those who don't. I wonder why people have a divine aura and fighting equipment. Maybe I can ask the girl there with white hair.

"Excuse me"

Bell POV

I was rejected 30 times already, and I don't have much money left. So maybe I'm not suitable for being an adventure.

"Excuse me"

I hear someone talking from behind. I turn around and see a person with a mask.

"Um, mister, did you call me."

"Yes, I did. I am Rimuru Tempest"

"I am Bell Cranel. So Tempest-san wh--"

"Stop! Please don't call me Tempest-san. Call me Rimuru-san. I will call you Bell-san, is that ok?"

"Ok. So Rimuru-san, why did you call me?"

"Well, I am a traveller, I have just come here, so I what to know why there are people with armour, weapons and divine aura." 

"The ones with weapons and armours are adventures, the ones with divine aura are god-----"       ( Bell explains the whole system in Danmachi. I'm lazy, so I don't want to write the entire thing.)

"Thanks, Bell-san, it's handy." 

"No problem"

"So, Bell-san, what are you doing here?"

"About that, I'm trying to become an adventure, but the gods won't let me in their familia cause I look fragile and don't have much money left. So I'm thinking of going back home.

"Why do you want to be an adventure?"

"I don't want to talk about it. It is very embarrassing."

"Don't worry. I won't tell other people."

"I want to become an adventure because I want to pick up girls in the dungeon, and I what to be a hero and protect everyone. But, it's very childish right?" 

"Haha, I know why you don't want to tell me. The first one is embarring, but---- I think the second one is very noble as not everyone has the heart to become a hero."

Rimuru POV

I honestly think wanting to be a hero is very noble as nowadays, most humans only care about themselves.

"But there's no way I can be a hero if I can't even become an adventure." 

After Bell-san said that, I took out a bag of money and gave him.

"I have to leave now. The money in the bag can let you live here for a month, don't give up. Also, don't try to give me back the money now. Count it as my investment in you. Always remember your dream on your adventure."

After saying that, I left. I can still hear Bell-kun thanking me behind me.

Bell POV

Rimuru Tempest. Grandpa, I think I found someone who believes in my dreams beside you. I will have to thank him and repay him some time.

3rd Person POV

After looking at the bag for a couple of minutes, a smile appears, and hope fills her eyes. If a particular goddess looks at her soul now, she will see her soul glowing brightly and full of admiration.
