Elena's POV
"I'm so sorry for your loss," Martha said to me. She is the only werewolf from my pack that I trust and the only one besides my family that knows about me and she is my only best friend.
I only nod my head still looking down. I had lost them, my family. My mate and daughter.
Rogue and Witches attack my pack last night. I don't know how that two creatures had teamed up but one thing Is I know, they kill my family.
"So what now?" Martha said from beside me.
"I'm leaving the pack." Her eyes widen.
"Wh-what"
"Yes I'm leaving Mar, I can't stay In this pack where my family's murder happen." I say numbly."I cannot even do anything to save them both." I whisper.
"But you're not here when it happened, do not blame yourself." she defended me.
I sigh but keep quiet
Yes. Indeed, I'm not here in the pack when it happened. I'm fighting rogue on our neighboring pack. I'm saving others' lives but I can't even save my own family. It's a surprise attack so we aren't ready when It happened.
Because if I know that this would happen I will never leave their side. Not that they are helpless but It's much better if I'm fighting with them.
My mate was a Lycan and my daughter was just like me but she got Lycan genes too so she had a wolf but she was eight and a half months pregnant.
I'm awoken by my thoughts when I heard a soft cry in my arms.
I smiled at the beautiful baby girl and cradle her in my arms.
Before my daughter died she tried to be strong so we can get the baby alive and we did. The baby is a girl and she is healthy.
We don't know who the father is, only my daughter knows who he is but she wouldn't tell us. So we just supported her.
"I would like to come with you but you know that my mate and family are here," Martha said sadly.
"I know and I understand." I give her a reassuring smile.
"So what are you going to name her? she said softly.
I look at the beautiful baby in my arms and smile remembering my daughter's last words.
"Victoria Emerense Thompson"
