[Katerina is seen panting and running from werewolves on the chase.]
Katerina (panting): What did. I... get myself in too. I should....have call for backup. Why didn't I listen to Reed? Oh no. They catching up.
[Katerina continues running and panting.]
[GO TO BLACK]
[ON SCREEN: ]
20 HOURS EARLIER
[CUT TO]
LONZO'S HOUSE. EXTERIOR FRONT AREA. DAY
[Katerina gets into her car and drives off into the streets.]
[CUT TO]
SAN FRANCISCO PD. EXTERIOR FRONT AREA. DAY
[Katerina parks her car in front and then walks over and enters through the department's door.]
[CUT TO]
SAN FRANCISCO PD. EXTERIOR FRONT AREA. DAY(LATER)
[On the background of the police department building. Time is shown changing through fast paced shots of the clouds moving to show many hours has passed.]
[CUT TO]
SAN FRANCISCO P.D. MEDICAL EXAM LAB. DAY
[Katerina is seen now examining a victim's body, a young male with blonde hair and bruises around the arms and neck when she hears a knock on the door.]
Katerina: Who is it? And could you please come back. I'm a bit busy.
Ryan( o/s): It's me. Babe. May I come in? They sent me to observe and record this autopsy.
Katerina: Okay. And please. Let's refer to our titles here. Officer Lakeland.
[Katerina then takes her gloves off and lets Ryan in and puts them back on after closing the door. Ryan then walks in further with his recorder in hand.]
Ryan: Just like old times. Remember many months ago. I did the same thing with you. Doctor Lonzo.
Katerina: How could I forget? You were a bit scared of the body. But now things changed right?
Ryan: Yep. Doctor Lonzo. I have learned to overcome it. Now let's do this. Doctor Lonzo.
Katerina: Oh yes.
[Katerina then starts to examine the victim's body as Ryan turns his recorder on to record everything that is said in the autopsy.]
[CUT TO]
SAN FRANCISO P.D. CHIEF MITCHELL HAINES' OFFICE. DAY
[Reed is sitting with Mitchell discussing his worriness about Katerina and her issue with a werewolf.]
Reed: Chief. What should I do? I'm so worried for Katerina's safety. I mean yesterday we were nearly about to get killed if another pack of werewolves didn't appear out of nowhere.
Mitchell: That's dangerous stuff. Werewolves. I don't what to suggest. You're a wise man. You'll figure something out.
[Mitchell pauses a bit.]
Mitchell(cont'd): Remember. You said in a conversation that you were older than me.
[Reed rolls his eyes at Mitchell.]
