In this mod it takes place four years in the future.. Static Memories takes place in an alternate universe, separate from Friday Night Funkin' and other mods.
Although, almost all mod characters may exist in this universe; it's highly unlikely that Boyfriend would have ever met them, as he wouldn't have had rap battles with them. As it takes place in another universe, there are some differences between Static Memories and Friday Night Funkin'. Differences are as follows:
The mod takes place 4 years in the future, as Boyfriend is 23.
The rap battles between Boyfriend and Daddy Dearest never took place. Instead, Boyfriend was writing music to prove his love for Girlfriend.
However, the music was put on hold after the accident.
Boyfriend started dating Girlfriend when they were 21. They were close beforehand.

Scenario- It's been a few weeks or months or how long it's been it was the day you'll get discharged from the hospital but, the doctor still has to run some tests on you before you are discharged.
