"Dude what's wrong? You haven't talked to her in 3 days?" Heeseung asks Jay who was calmly going through his phone.
"Let's stop talking about it. My head hurts. Anyway,I am going out ,bye" Jay replies as he steps out of the door .
"What happened to them"Sunoo asks,concerned about his friend.
"Dont know,he's been acting strange"niki answers.
○○○○○○○ Jay groans in frustration. Why is she in Gimpo?
What happened?
Did Something bad happen?
Is she ok?
"Jay-ah,you are not thinking about Mirae,are you?" Chayeong asks as he looks at her.
"You know that we are not supposed to fall in love. You do remember our promise right? The only ones we are supposed to fall in love with is each other. Don't forget " Chayeong adds.
"Yea yea Iremember . Stop talking about it. Its annoying" Jay replies to which Chayeong smirks.
Jay had started avoiding her due to Chayeong. She had manipulated him and he knew it but he thought it was too late to back off.
The stupid promise they made when they were children actually turned out to be hell.
'Dont worry Chayeong,I won't ever fall in love. Falling in love is for the weak' the thing 9 year old Jay said was frustrating out the 20 year old Jay.
●●●●●●●●●●● With a heavy heart she returned back to Seoul.
It was 3 in the evening when she arrived in her apartment . As soon as Yungsuk saw her,she tightly hugged her.
"When did you arrive?" Mirae asks her. "2 hours ago. Anyway,how did it go?" Yungsuk replies.
"It went fine" Mirae lies. Her mom was probably really disappointed in her .
"Did Jay help you out?" Yungsuk asks startling Mirae.
"No I told him not to"She lies again .
"I have to get ready for work "Mirae says avoiding another question.
Yungsuk noticed something wrong. What happened to her?
○○○○○○○○○○ She arrived at the workplace which was busy as always. She directly went to the second floor.
Few hours later her shift was over. It was 8 pm as she composed herself. Moving downstairs she was met by a busy environment.
"Oh,Mirae!hi!"Jaemin,who she had met several times before says.
"Oh,hi?" She replies,unsure of what to say.
"So you-"He was soon interrupted by a noise coming from a group.
"Jay-ah, what happened to the girl who you use to talk to? You know,the rumor one?" Someona asks
"Ahh,that girl? Nothing lol. You know how I am,once I get bored I am done. I didnt want to bother around her anymore. Its not that I actually liked her"Jay replies to the girl unknown to the fact Mirae also heard him.
"So you don't like her?"Chayeong asks eyeing Mirae
"Nah ,I never did"Jay says again as Chayeong snickers glancing at Mirae.
"Are you ok?" Jaemin asks her as she nods.
"He doesn't know what he is saying . I am sure-"before he could complete the girl interrupted.
"Nevermind I am in no place to talk about this. And besides,he probably is telling the truth since he thinks I am not here. "Mirae replies holding back her tears.
"I will get going"she says at last ,running out of the restaurant.

She enters her apartment still not recovering from what she had heard earlier.
Was she a joke to him?
Everything that happened meant nothing to him?
Was it OK for her to get angry or was it her fault that she let him toy her ?
Was it her fault that she fell for him even though she knew what would be the outcome?
"Mirae? What happened? Are you ok? Did someone-"Before Yungsuk could complete the sentence, Mirae broke down in tears. She couldnt hold it anymore.
"Is-is ev-erything-my f-fault? Mirae asks in between sobs.
Yungsuk tried to cool her down . Mirae knew she could trust her so she told her everything. From what happened in gimpo between her and her mother to how Jay had been treating her. Yungsuk was furious,how could someone do something like this?
"I am going to kill him" Yungsuk says angrily.
"You know what,just leave it. I will forget everything as if it was a dream. "Mirae tells her friend as she quietly goes to her room.
