✂︎ when you told him that you were getting your nails done, he didn't really have any idea of what that was supposed to mean, so he made you promise to show him when you were done. he was really quite curious of what it was that you were going to do with your nails; he just assumed that girls would paint their nails by themselves, or was there some other thing that he didn't know about?

✂︎ he'll probably text you every half hour you're gone, asking if you were done yet. after you finally tell him that you'll send him a picture as soon as you were done and that he would be the first person to see, he let up and instead chose to wait by his phone so that he could see your text the moment you sent it.

✂︎ once he got the text, he immediately opened it up and looked at the picture you had sent. your nails seemed longer to him...maybe it was just the angle? the message you sent along with the picture made the tips of his ears turn red though.

✂︎ he thought it was so cute that you had gotten the color to match his hair, and instead of texting you, he probably called you and told you that you were being really cute right now.

✂︎ when he actually sees them in-person, he's surprised to see that your nails are actually longer, and that it wasn't just the angle of the picture. he's confused on how you're going to be able to do certain things with long nails, but he doesn't really care, as long as it makes you happy. you'll probably tell him something like "adaptation", and he accepts that as a fair answer.
