Love, Hailey

     I woke up the next morning still a bit surprised about what had happened last night, and how Justin had asked me to go on a date with him. I honestly didn't expect to be so interested in him, and in getting to know him, and I definitely didn't think he felt that way about me. I sit up in bed and stretch quietly before standing up and walking to the bathroom to get ready for school as usual. 

     I finished and put on my casual jeans and a hoodie before grabbing my backpack and my phone. I look down at my phone while I'm waiting downstairs to see a message from Ally.

Ally : Girl, we need to talk! I'm picking you up today so hurry and get dressed. 

     I nod my head slowly not responding but I wondered what she wanted to talk about. Had she figured out what was going on with Justin and I? I really hope not. That would definitely be bad if that is what she wanted to talk about.

     I greet my mom and sister who were down in the kitchen already eating breakfast. "Hey honey, I heard from your sister that you went to a party last night, I'm proud to see that you are going out instead of staying indoors all day." My mom says while smiling and hugging onto me tightly. I laugh softly and nod before releasing the hug with my mom to hug my sister. "Ally is picking me up today for school, so I'll just get some breakfast at a fast food place." I say releasing the hug from my sister and letting both of them know.

     "Sounds good to me, also later your sister and I won't be home, we are going out and will most likely be back home tomorrow morning by the time you wake up. Okay?" My mom says before taking a spoonful of her oatmeal. I nod my head and wave goodbye as Ally pulls into our driveway. I walk outside, before getting into her car.

     Once I got into the car Ally looks at me. "So, what happened yesterday at the party?" She asks while looking at me before reversing out of the driveway. "You got drunk... and that's really it." I say softly while looking at her, not really telling her anything else. "Yeah, I know but did you get to talk to the guys? Do you like any of them?" She asks while raising her eyebrows. I laugh softly while shaking my head, "Oh... no definitely not." I exclaim before looking out the side window.

     She rolls her eyes, "Girl, I know you way better than that. Who is it, which one of them do you like? Is it Wyatt, because I knew it." She says getting excited to hear what I had to say to her. "Uh, well..." I say softly before scratching my head. She continues taking glimpses at me waiting for me to respond. "I like Justin..." I add while turning my head to look at her, noticing that her facial expression had changed really quickly. "Justin! Really?" She asks surprised that I was into him. "Do you not remember what I told you about him, he is such a bad influence... I don't think that he is right for you Hailey." She adds.

     "Yeah, I know he is a bad influence but he is really sweet and caring, he actually texted me last night and asked me if I wanted to go on a date, and told me to let him know when I was available." I sigh softly debating whether I should tell her what happened at the party or not. "Okay, yesterday at the party, we did some things an-" She cuts me off. "Wait! You did some things? Are you telling me you had sex with him?" She asks looking extremely shocked. "No... no we didn't but he wanted too. I told him that I wasn't ready for all of this and he told me that he would wait for me to be ready." I say softly while nodding. "Ally, why can't you just be happy for me, and happy that I actually found someone. I wasn't even looking for him." I say while shrugging. "Basically all you wanted me to do yesterday was the go to that party and find someone, and now you're mad at me for it?" 

     She shakes her head before sighing, "I'm not mad at you, I just don't want you to get hurt. I care about you a lot Hails, and you're my best friend. I don't want you to be hurt by him. If that ever comes into play, but if you're happy with him, then I'm happy for you." She says softly as we approach the school. She parks the car before getting out not saying anything to me after. I lower my head down before walking up to the school doors and walking inside. 

     After a couple minutes of walking I had found Justin who was leaning against the lockers. He called me over and I walked to him. "Hey." He says in his still low raspy voice. "Hi." I respond before leaning my back against the lockers next to him. "What's wrong you sound down, are you okay?" He asks before turning me to look at him. "If I do get with you... would you ever hurt me?" I ask him thinking about what Ally had told me in the car. "What?! Of course not Hailey, I would never hurt you, you deserve the world, and that is what I'm going to give you." He says while nodding and pushing my hair behind my ears. I look up at him, before putting a smile on my face after he had told me that. He knew how to make me smile and feel better, which was exactly what I needed."

     "Well, okay." I say softly before nodding. "Hey, also about the date if you aren't to busy today we can have it today after school." I add while looking up at him. "Oh that's perfect! Where do you want to go?" He asks while looking down at me. "How about the movies?" I ask so then I won't really have to change my clothes. I ask him. He nods his head in agreement before the bell rings for class. "Movies after school it is." He says with a big smile on his face before he turns around to walk to his first class, and I do the same.  

(Sorry, if there a bunch of mistakes. I have to read them all once I finish this, and correct some of the grammar and spelling! This is also not my best one, but I figured I add it in. You can skip it all nothing juicy really happens in this part)
