Ian made breakfast— it's really good.

It's been so long since I had any, too. I'm just now realizing that. I always wake up too late and by then I just eat lunch, or a sandwich if I don't feel like cooking anything. And, generally, I don't.

"You need to start eating better," he scolds me softly as we move to the dishwasher. 

His parents went back to sleep and it was pretty cool seeing them again after so long, even if his mom was never a fan and still isn't. I guess I didn't expect them to remember me so well. 

"You're always having chips and stuff like that," he continues.

See? Weird. Who notices those things? 

"Have you been stalking me, dude?" I accuse him, but I'm not angry about it.

Ian purses his lips together and there's a smile behind it. His cheeks kinda flush as he finishes loading the dishes.
