#28 Inside My Heart Is You

I have a childhood best friend named joshua we are always together wherever we go, we grew up together, we dreamed together, but he left me when we were 10 years old.

While his parents were arranging their belongings, the two of us sat in front of their house holding hands and leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Joshua?" I called him.

"Hmmm?" A ten years old joshua answered while holding tightly my hands.

"Are you gonna comeback?" I asked him.

"Of course, I'll come back here," He let go of my hand and hugged me tightly and he whispered something to me.

"As long as you promised me you wouldn't have a boyfriend, huh?"

"Why?"

"I want to meet you at church next time," Joshua ruffles my hair.

It took a few more hours and Joshua and his parents left. Joshua never told me where they were going and when he would return.

After 8 years

I'm already 18 years old and we still live here, every day I'm looking at the sky and praying when will Joshua come for the past 8 years he's still what I'm looking for.

After I ate I cleaned myself up and went to school im a college student now and I am an accounting student.

I have a classmate whose name is Yoon Jeonghan, he is always annoying until he annoys me, he likes to joke around whenever I'm sad.

Jeonghan is my best friend.

As I was walking down the hallway, suddenly someone pushed me hard and I almost fell down at the stairs.

"Shut up now let's go." He pulled my hand and we walk together because our class is almost about to start.

While my classmates and I were in the classroom, I saw Jeonghan looking at me, he looked like he had another bad plan.

Jeonghan really like to tease me when I'm being serious.

"Oh my gosh! accounting is really hard!"

"Tsk. Pfft! You should have read more books before complaining guys, accounting is easy." I told them

"For you Y/n beacuse you are smart unlike us we're just idiot stupid students here," They laughed.

"Wow.. Jeonghan are you here to tease Y/n again?" my block mate laughed.

"No, we're going to have a date today okay bye! bye!" he suddenly pulled me away to my classmates.

"What the fuck! is really wrong with you jeonghan," I punched him in his chest.

"Awww! calm down lady we're going to eat in the resto today my treat,"

He brought his face close to mine and messed up my hair.

We got in Jeonghan's car even though Jeonghan looks like a lunatic, he has a kind side and he always takes care of me.

Now we are eating in an expensive restaurant.

"Jeonghan, It's expensive here, why are we still eating here? We can just eat at home." I said as I lowered my utensils.

"Shh! shut up. It's my treat so don't you just eat we'll go somewhere later." miracle! he wanted to roam around!

After we ate we left and we went to an old church what are we going to do here?

"Jeonghan why are we here?" I asked him.

"Ahmm... y/n," He shook his head.

And suddenly the lights went out around me and someone played a serenade song to play what is this?

"You know y/n even though I'm always teasing you ahmm why do I love you because whenever I'm with you I feel butterflies in my tummy and I think I'm going crazy, if you're not in my side when I see you I feel like I'm missing something so.... Can you be my girlfriend?" I heard people shouting around me.

"He made a perfect choice because I love going to church." I said to him.

He removed his hug from me and we approached a man holding a guitar and red flowers in his hands.

"Y/n this is my friend he came from the states he is Joshua. " I saw a familiar face again.

"J-Joshua?"

"Y/n. It's finally nice to see you.. " I saw him again... After 10 years.. Joshua finally back.

"Wait do you know each other?" Jeonghan smiled while looking at the two of us.

"Yes. she is my first love and still she is,"
