I'm busy dressing up for the day. Free ako ngayon kasi walang nakaschedule na photoshoot kaya I can do anything I want today.

"Cookie!" Lumabas ako ng kwarto habang bitbit ang tatlong leash. My dog came to me hurriedly. Umiika- ika pa siya pero winawagayway na ang buntot.

I laughed when Raisin, my other dog, and Taco, my cat outran her.

May tatlo akong alaga, and they were all strays. NApulot ko lang sila sa daan and helped them have the life they deserved.

Cookie is limp. Duguan siya noong narescue ko siya sa daan. Luckily, she survived. Pero kailangan putulin ang isang kaliwang paa niya sa harapan. I had her checked up, and helped her become a healthy puppy. Tatlong taon na rin siyang nasa akin. Now, she's a sweet and cuddly dog.

Raisin is a black dog. Unlike cookie, he had an irresponsible owner. He was covered in a matted fur and had different skin diseases because of fleas. Mabuti nalang, noong pinakiusapan ko ang may- ari, basta nalang niyang binigay si Raisin. I had her washed up, monitored her health, until she was fully recovered. It's been 2 and a half years sonce I had him. He was a little distant at me first because of the trauma he went through from his previous owner who was beating him up. I'm just glad I managed to save this angel.

Lastly, Taco. The only cat in the pack. He's a black cat. Cookie and Raisin's vet found him in their neigborhood with a stick on her eye. Mas sugat na ang isang mata niya pero tinusok pa rin ng stick ang isa. When the vet had him, I can't help but feel sad and disgusted to the people who did this to them. Now, Taco is blind but has an amazing hearing.

"Let's go meet Doctor Luke. Be good, ok?" I pet them one by one after putting their leash.

My mom is actually against this. Ayaw niyang nag-aalaga ako ng mga stray animals. She said, I should've bought expensive breeds in pet shopes but why would I? There are unloved pets out there that needs a family. So why would I waste my money that I can use to help for the betterment of these fur- babies?

Kahit pa hindi ko naabot ang pangarap kong maging veterinanrian, I'm still glad that I have the power and money to help them. They're my family now. I even bought my own two- storey house in a subdivision kasi ayaw ni mommy sakanila.

Not long after, nakarating kami sa clinic. Malapit lang sa subdivision naming ang clinic kaya mabilis lang ang byahe at hindi mahirap puntahan. Today is their monthly check up. They all have different treatments dahil iba- iba ang sitwasyon nila. Then ipapa- groom ko na rin sila.

"Hey doc!" masaya kong bati kay Doc Luke Valdez.

He was my classmate in college. Mabuti at natupad ang panagrap niyang maging vet. Siya rin ang pinagkakatiwalaan ko sa mga babies ko since he truly cares for them.

"Long time no see, Scar!" Kumaway ito sa gawi ko at lumapit. Tahol sina Raisin at cookie habang tuluyan nang humiga si Taco sa paanan ni Luke.

"They missed you. Ano ba kasing ginagawa mo sakanila bakit parang mas mahal ka pa nila kaysa sakin?" I jokingly said. They always get so excited kapag pumupunta kami rito. Unlike the other dogs, they love going to the vet.
